I've only seen the jpg for this, is the AR screwed on the rls or the jpg?

I appologize for what my brother did in the star trek nemesis thread, that was ALL uncalled for. I should have beat the shit out of him but i held back, even though he deserves it. with that out of the way.
I was very pleased with the FTF release, I know not many people like ftf in this forum but overall there not that bad, but they will never be nearly as good as UTI, The harry potter cam that uti put out rocked until they shocked us all with the dvd scr. i was so damn happy. I thought the video in the ftf version was better than the tcf, in the tcf version the pic was stretched. but i loved it, loved the ftf version as well watched both of them, seen LOTR:TTT in the theatre twice, so i am starting to know all the lines in the movie now. lol. this movie should be watched in the theatre before seeing a cam copy. I gotta question for anyone who can answer this, a telecine when its put on a computer i heard that the picture is stretched most of the time? if thats so when its encoded to mpeg. or avi couldn't you fix that problem? just wondering.
I use Kazaa to get most of my movies, I get them just a day or 2 after there out most of the time, harry potter dvd scr took me about 4 days. if anyone who uses kazaa, if you don't know there are some things you can get that will help you out, a few programs kalled diet kazaa, you can get alot of search results, speeds your downloads at times, also the most important program for kazaa is (Kazaa preview extractor). you can view any of the avi files while downloading them. so its not that bad, thats how i get my stuff quick with kazaa. hope i helped someone out today. later all.

Just saw the sample and it kicks ass. Video is fantastic for a cam. Sound is so-so. Good job Uti.

crap. well not that bad. just burnt all three discs and all i can say is colors are washed out. its also insanely bright whenever there is light in the picture (eg the opening scene). Also another funny thing i found while scanning through the first disc is the camera man seems to get scared or something and he tucks away the camera at about 18 mins in disc 1. the picture is black for only about 5-10 seconds tho. The video is also very grainy (like all other uti cams). anyways i would suggest waiting for a better copy. the audio is pretty good, but hollow. and pls stop voting on the jpg's u noobs (not referring to everyone just the idiots calling this telecine and screener quality).

6/6/still havent seen the whole thing.

Managed to grab CD1 and watch it, and I must say, it is a very decent release. Video is much better that their Harry Potter 2 CAM release and the audio is much better than in HP2, but it is still somewhat hollow. Overall, it is a great release. I will let you know if there are any scenes missing once I watch all 3 CDs.

Looks great, sounds okay. I have already watched the TCF release in it's entirety, and it left a lot to be desired. This copy is 100% clearer in picture, no better illustrated than the first 2 minutes of the movie. For those that have seen only cam releases, it is easy to become lost in the pixelization and darkness of the FTF and TCF releases... whereas the UTi release has excellent clarity and smooth camera pans. The audio is a bit.... shitty, but still better than the "What did he just say?" others. Some bass carries through and speech is intelligible, but a TS would certainly be an advantage.

I'd rate this a 9 for visual quality (compared to other cam/ts's)
and a 6 for audio quality
and a 9.5 for incredible movies. Return of the King has some shoes to fill.

Okay, CD1 does not seem to be missing any footage. I have watched some of CD2 also and it doesn't seem to be missing any either. I just need to grab CD3. I have seen this in the theater 3 times, so I think I would know if it is missing any.

bit bright... sound hollow but i dont care cos this release is superb.

Just got the sample, i know i got my hands on this late, but here it goes!!!!

Quality of the movie is a little bit snowy. Quality at the JPG is Crisp the movie is nice, just little bit dark. Sound is not bad! and movie it self is alright ( wish it had ending ) for each Episode
but ohh well It worth downloading!......

i downloaded the sample and the pic is a little grainy and any white in a scene makes that part of the screen very bright but i guess its better than the tcf cam.

whats everyone talking about the dvd screener for? how do you know there will even be a dvd screener released?
