TK7381, the oscar-screeners doesnt come with subs, and they are only in ntsc format. So you wont get a pal release of any of the oscar-screeners. You will have to wait to july if u want subs to TTT.

iND could have released it this way as well. LOL! But because of the load size preferred not to. Most users don't wanna download 8gigs.

The best they have ever seen? DUH! What are ya new? The original will always look the best. This is why groups are lame. Groups need to dissolve & become one. But it won't happen cause there's to many ego's floating around.

Ah well, theres a good choice now.

TDi SVCD - smaller in size, good quality, 4CDs,
iND DVDR - 93x50mb, excelent quality, 1 DVD
REiGN DVDR - Huge 160x50mb! BEST quality, 2 DVDs

Clearly it just depends how long u wanna spend downloading it. It is better than iND, and to the ppl who said it is unecessary dont knwo what they are on about. It IS better quality. But to be honest I cant b arsed to get all of it as I have the iND, and I dont have a HDTV. If you do tho, maybe worth getting this release

Yep. I guess it's just personal preference.

If you dont like a release, don't download it. Just because you don't think it's worthwhile, It doesnt mean everyone else should agree with you.

Download whatever version you like, there's an SVCD, XviD, DivX, DVD-R (1disc), DVD-R (2disc). So you have a wide selection to choose from.

I myself, will be downloading this 2disc DVD-R.

it's too bad that you cant come to this site and look at the ratings of the new releases and just know if it's a good release or not...cause there's always some stupid ass or asses that gives the movie a 1/1/1 or 10/10/10 when it's not even close to either...there should be a group of about 10 or so respectable people who wont screw over the ratings and you know that their not stupid asses who just love or hate the movie and give it a terrible rating. Something like the video game review sites do, just have a non moronic person review it and rate it

by the way, this was particularly brought to my attention by pcjerk who gave the reign dvd a 1/1/1 just because it's big....but as i recall, the rating is based on quality and not how easily some dumbass can download it.

just an idea about that group, cause it probably wont happen because tehre would always be people who would say that it doesn't deserve the rating that it gets.

i mean if u dont want it dont dl it simply

people who can catch dvd-r movie easily dont know there luck

this scene is a really hard scene it's easier to find games in dvd than dvd-r

so just considere you lucky if u can download it think about people who cant catch them because they got 0.5mbit connection

Anyone who thinks the iND DVDR version is anywhere close to the quality of the TDi SVCD obviously hasn't viewed both. The video quality is significantly better on the DVDr...and the sound is, of course, much better.

for people who actually want to know about the release itself, i personally have watched both dvdr's of this reign release, and i must say, this is by far the best dvdr scr i have seen in my entire life, absolutely amazing, if u havent already seen in the theaters and have axx to this, i highly reccomend u get this, and trust me its definetly worth it, especially for a movie of this caliber

I have the IND release and the video and audio is superb. I have a good surround sound setup, and am playing the game on a mediocre (average) tv via my xbox and an S-Video hookup. Am I going to notice an EXTREME amount of difference (videowise) on this setup as I am not running on an HDTV (plus the xbox doesn't support progressive scan output for DVD's) If I know my stuff correctly (and for all i know i don't) The audio shouldn't be affected at all. This is a simple question and would appreciate a simple answer Thanks in advance

As a newbie to the DVD-R scene, I just saw the post that said the Reign screener will not show up on newsgroups. As that is the only way I am aware of to download these files, what is the reason it won't show up?

yea, definately sucks for us newsgroup peole becuase even if they do post it after a week or so, there will definately be missing files that they wont account for with par files and we'll just be screwed

and as for mirc, i must just really suck at using it because whenever a new release is out, mirc only leads to long ass queues that i never get through because my mirc will just end up disconnecting somewhere in the middle

8 gigs is not to much for a newsgroup

Anyone stating that 8 gigs is to much just hasn't downloaded more then one movie from DVD-R. So what if it happens to be 2 discs for one film. This one is simply a rare exception and for some it's worth it. Just hope someone will do us the favor of posting it to the newsgroups.
