low sound

This movie has really really low sound i burned it popped it in the dvd player and video is good but sound is really low i turned volume on tv all the way up to max and still wasnt very loud also has a hissing sound

Video: Good. Blue tint but honestly, who cares.. learn how to fix it, its easy. Its SVCD, get over it. The source has a high resolution whether it looks grainy or not, CTP has said that they will release their TS's in SVCD format. If you want to complain about that fine, its always funny to hear someone bitching about something they have no control over. Deal with your inability to effect change.

Audio: Fine, slightly low but thats what volume knobs are for. If you hear a hiss when you turn up the volume then congratulations on saving all the money when buying your TV, amplifier, or speakers.

Movie: This movie is just like a political science lecture I sat through in university. I thought I was sitting through a lecture, just like I thought I was sitting through a movie, but for some reason it felt like church. Maybe its because of the nonstop preaching. Let me guess at what was going through the writer's mind "Death Penalty Bad. Death Penalty Bad. Nudity. Death Penalty Bad. Nudity. Death Penalty Bad. How the fuck do I end this?" I still can't figure out what the message was from this movie but I really think the people responsible should be put to death... in Texas.

They did a pretty good job on this one, there is a slight blue tint but nothing to bad. Video is clear, sound is good except for the buzz, it is definitely noticeable. Overall this is a great release.

Nice release, slight blue tint but didn't notice much... wonder what they're ts of the new matrix film will be like? A blue tint mixed with the green tint of the Matrix?

Anyway, this release is great, those bashing it plainly just hate CTP cos of the reputation they've got themselves. And svcd doesn't bother me, cd's are 15p a throw and bandwidth is at a flat rate a month, it's better quality so I don't complain.

just watched this, really good movie quality was below average for a svcd ts, sound was totally messed up. some serious buzzing and it would go from muffled to clear and back like someone was playing with the equipment when they ripped it. i think this could have easily been done on 2cds though... definitly not worthy of 3cds

Well I watched this movie last night. Yes is has a "slight" hissing noise to start but for those actually watching the movie and not picking at the pieces to flame the noise goes away after awhile. The Movie has a Blue tint to it yes. But the Movie is very Watchable. Sound was alright and Picture was good and clear. What the hell were you flamers expecting a DVD Rip. It says TS. From the TS i have seen latley, this was a great copy. Keep up the good work Centropy.

***SPOILERS*** .. do not read if you haven't seen the movie

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen .. reasons:
Kate Winslet was HORRIBLE .. Her diologue in the first scene was so contrived and unbelievable that (at the same time) I looked at my girlfriend and we both said “is this terrible acting? .. what’s going on here?” Then the annoying intern comes in to bring the acting down to a lower level (didn’t think it would get THAT bad) .. and this is only the first 20 minutes or so.

After that it goes ON and ON with cliché “Nancy Drew/Scooby Doo antics .. like this one,
“Hey, you call the cowboy and get him out of the house while I sneak through the backdoor and look for the secret video tape uhhuhh uhhuhh uhhuuhh.”

At this point I was wishing that I bagged my own head and suffocated myself.

And some people actually think this is a SMART thiller? They (Hollywood) are really “dumbing down” the mystery/thriller genre and insulting the average movie goer.
Shame on you Kevin Spacey for wasting your brilliance on this! You otta be fried!!!
OH .. hehe you were .. lol

My only complaint woud be that they used blended feild option to deinterlace it. My suggestion would be to use even or odd feild or just leave it interlaced. Oh and if you could get rid of some of the blue would be nice.
