Cool

Just watched it all on my standalone, great pic and the best sound I've heard on a TS. As for the blue, it's not really THAT bad.

The movie itself, quite a funny pic., if you like spy spoofs I'd recommend it.

Thanks Centropy for another excellent release

People need to stop complaining about the blue tint. It's still great quality, rivals most screeners. Malcome in the Middle kicks some ass.

I fixed the blue on my copy... and I see why they made it blue. Wihtout it, the brightness gets overwhelming, and is hard on the eyes. I uesed optimal gamma settings as well, but preserved as much color as possible. The outdoor and specifically bright scenes get excessively bright, and the blue tint helps to tone that down. Some flickering will occur, like in a TCF TS.

Anyway, this release was very watchable, but it seems a little lower than standard Centropy quality. First of all, usually Centropy has pinpoint accuracy on making sure the cam is even, and cropped. However, its slightly at an angle, and VERY slightly tilted. You can tell by the way text appears on the screen, and by looking at the upper left hand corner. Also, in the beginning of CD 1, the camera moves a bit. Still, its a really great release for a pre, props to Centropy.

When Centropy isn't slightly blue, they're bright as hell. You all remember Attack of the Clones last summer, I'm sure. The blue tint doesn't take away from the movie, it's still excellent quality. I don't think you have to worry about what you say about Centropy, because as everyone knows, they do whatever they want. 8/8/God Knows What. No way I'm gonna D/L this whole thing looks absolutely awful plot-wise(not surprisingly). Here's a link for you: http://www.onlymoronsthinkyoucandow...romwebpages.com

This is a good rls for ts. I would suggest a different deinterlace meathod and adjust the colors a little.

thanks
6.9.?

Here comes my .25c cuz im so cool. After watching it, the release is pretty fucking kickass on a tv. The colors are good, the blue doesnt affect shit, all the colors are still the same, and as phizz pointed out its just to take away the brightness. They seem to be getting better every ts, the sound was superb and the movie wasnt that bad. Cody's Handler and hilliary made the movie tho and there are some corny scenes. 8/9/6.5-7

I tell you....maybe Im color blind but, this was a really good pre. Ididnt see much blue at all from my tv set. My kids loved it and so did I. A joy to watch......I felt like I was in the movies!!!!! Excellent.

Way too narrow of 16x9 Widescreen

The quality is ok not great, but CTP should really watch the aspect ratio.

Their last few TS releases have been better.

OK CTP I think I speak for alot of people (flamers get ready) but I think you should find your old DV Cam, because this one has problems with brightness, hence the blue tint. I loved your old releases. People say shit about CTP not being the best, but look at the old 2001-summer 2002 releases from CTP.

You can call me whatever you want, but all old CTP releases rival most, if not all screeners. You guys get your old cam (and cammer if he is not in the big house) and you will RULE the scene forever more. This release is OK, but BLUE! ::thinking of that shitty song::
7/8/3(not my kind of movie)

This movie is just dumb, reminds me of that stupid spy kids movie.. but the quality's not all that bad.. good job Centropy... Question is tho there last 3-4 movies are in blue, whats up with that? oh and 5/5/4

Posted by horizonstar on 03-16-2003 11:34 PM:

ok, so everyone and their brother's dog has already posted about this, but since I haven't actually written about an actual movie release in several months, I suppose I should chime in.

an enjoyable movie ... worth a few laughs, for sure. stock characters, stock footage, pretty poorly done climax scene, I must say. still fun to watch though.

as for the blue tint, the reason I don't like it is because it makes the movie have even less color contrast than a black and white film.

but nonetheless, well shot, great sound, etc. gj, ctp.

7/9/6

its ok

the movie is great, blue tint is ok i guess...a) its not distracting; b) the tint does look good with the movie poster's use of blue and not to mention the end credits
