juss finished watching the movie GREAT QUALITY wicked sound but angle was bad. The angle doesnt really take away from the movie because only on certain close ups is the face really messed up but very watchable. O ya movie rocked, esspically near the end

Pic is excellent, colours nigh on perfect and much better than previous ctp releases (i.e it doesn't look almost black and white!), sound is excellent, as regards to the angle, you get used to it.

I watched this flick again and this time minimized the screen...(Mintek DVD players hit zoom 4 times )..the corners are "ROUND"... is it possible someone used a fisheye to Telesync a movie?

Video is 8 for me, 7 if you can't stand the damn angle, 9 if you could care lesss about it. It doesn't bother me that much, but it obviously takes away from the movie's awesome projection. Audio is amazing - 9. As for the movie itself, I'm going to see it in a few hours due to the luck of anything good playing. I have a feeling it will suck though. Gotta love that time after Oscar nominees but before summer...

If this is even a Centropy release???

I used to swear by the quality of their releases, but this one leaves a lot to be desired.

Video quality is typical of Centropy, and very sharp. But it looks like it was shot from a front row seat, looking up. The closeups of heads make everyone look like Jay Leno.

Audio is excellent...

The movie itself..........3 just for the first 5 minutes. Must be they either had a moron for a technical adviser, or they were saving the budget by not having one. When do you suppose an aircraft carrier and its battle group were deployed to a hostile location (off the coast of Nigeria here) without an airwing onboard? The flight deck was completely void of any. Really bad oversight...

How about a PROPER

The angle and aspect ratio are annoying. I realize that getting a good camera angle may be difficult, but the last few movies need a less narrow widescreen.

I said in an earlier post i would pass on this one, but i picked it up anyway. The angle is off, but it's not that bad once you get into the movie. Only time it's really bad is on close-ups and there aren't too many of those. Great color, Excellent Sound. This was the first good Bruce Willis flick i've seen in a while, good story and some nice action scenes. Overall nice release....

and i'm really glad this one wasn't blue

this is night on unwatchable
i saw it on a small site and thought cool a new ts
i wouldnt bother with cam/ts stuff normally but as its ctp i thought id grab the fooker
it was a few hrs before it hit this great board so i just leeched it
no harm done as its all free but...................
this film is ruined by the crooked angle/bad aspect ratio whatever
the colour is better thank god but it is too messed up to watch
shame really as the ctp stuff is normally bitching
still its free (say it with me)
so the actual film looks ok
the sound is great
but the film quality thanks to the messed upness is poor

if you freeze the part where the helecopters are aproachin the aircraft carrier you can see that they have clipped the subs from the bottom of the screen and didnt go high enough

I guess no one can figure out the angle, so I'll spill the beans. This is a TS but they used a FISH EYE lens to get all the picture in the frame. Then CROPPED the SUBS off sot he angle seems like it's a little high when it was right in the center before the cropping was done. And the used what seems to be more then likely a DV 3 CCD Camcorder, and fire wired it at a high rate to the hard drive on the capture. All and all, they did a good job, but I wouldn't have used a fish eye lens for the job. A regular lens and backing off with just a tad bit of zoom would have corrected the whole problem. Still for a TS off a silver, it was done pretty well.

Yep angles of video is little off, but good quality & sound. The overall story-acting was good too! Didn't bother me much watching on my 65" tv

ok... this is probably the worst movie i've seen in a very long time.. it really sucks bad, unless u enjoy a 2 hour 'walk in the jungle' type of movie. then its great. color was nice on this rip except picture looked a little warped.. everyone had big heads n shit look like arnold.. even the girls lol

Rip was good if they wouldnt have streched it out to make it WS . I have to agree silentdeath , this movie was very boring , I cant belive a movie reviuer for a paper said this movie was a propiganda movie for war. I mean this was almost a chick flick.

OK.quality of this video is pretty damn good i give it a 7,of course some action sequences are pixelated,audio is good i give it a 8,camera angle is off ,but i feel its just messed up only on close-ups.still overall good job centropy! final-7/8/6

Excellent movie, good sound, great picture. didnt like the WS.

i dont know how to officially vote but i give it 9\8\10 loved the plot.

MOVIE: What I find annoying lately about Bruce Willis is that he seems to be losing his range as far as acting ability. He can't get the tough guy/Clint Eastwood squinty eyed look off his face. Sad that his acting was actually better in films like Die Hard and the TV series Moonlighting. Then we have Monica Bellucci as the hot doc. It seems she was cast to bounce her boobs in front of the camera and create the sense that she'd straddle Bruce Willis in the jungle at any given moment. What they should've done was cast someone who could act. Instead we get sexual eye candy. And I admit, while Monica is very nice to look at, a Jodie Foster type would've done much better with this role.
