is THIS really Centropy

Given the wave of morons trying to pretend that they are Centropy, I was wondering about this particular release. As of late, Centropy have been known for their very cool "intro" MPEG's. The release that I downloaded had an intro, but it wasn 't that exciting (compared to some other Centropy intro's I've seen) which makes me think that the release I downloaded is not on the up and up. Someone is trying to pretend to Centropy, I guess.

Could someone verify that for me?

The intro MPEG for the release I downloaded has a purple "plaque" type logo that appears and stays motionless for the remainder of the intro MPEG. There's some goofy techno-dance song in the background. When it's over, someone speaks some oriental language (about a sentence worth).

The release isn't that bad, but it's not up to the usual standards of Centropy.

One more thing. This isn't the first time this has happened. I downloaded a similar release for "Bringin' Down the House" and the movie sucked on my set top player. It kept freezing up which is NOT like Centropy!

Thanks in advance for any clarification!

shempster, the version of this release that I got had that intro you speak of (Centropy logo over a blue plaque and Eiffel 65 - Blue playing). This intro has been used, I think, on at least two other CTP releases this year.

BountyWarrior,
Thanks for clarifying that! I just thought is was a little weird that they had such a simple intro given the other ones we've seen. Speaking of those, that's some cool stuff! I liked the one they had for the Matrix release. Thanks again.

Glad I didn't go to the theaters to see this....

Video - 8 (Usual CTP, however, full screen)
Audio - 8 (Usual CTP)
Movie - 6 (Worth a few laugh.... could have counted them)
