I just finished watching this release (not just the samples) on my Apex AD-5131 so now I can finally give a full review and comparison to the version I watched earlier by Centropy (we already know this beats the ESO/FTF/VCD/APM(only because SVCD has less pixelation/motion blur) versions:
Video (9) - The video is just as sharp, it's a little grainy (on pc) however I noticed that CTP's was also grainy but their color helps from making it too obvious, the colors are not as saturated as Centropy's but this was not a problem since I can increase the saturation on my TV (when I tried to decrease the saturation of CTP's on my TV the colors didn't look right, it was more yellow-ish in some scenes), the angle is perfect (a problem which annoyed me most in the other copy), and you can see more of the screen (CTP's is cropped ALOT on the bottom and sides when I compared them side by side). The downside is the short flickering but that only happened for a second or 2 in both disks so it was tolerable. So video imo is better than Centropy's.
Audio (7.5) - It's almost identical to CTP's, those who watched the whole thing would agree so don't be fooled by TCF's *.nfo. There is the small mequito buzz on quiet scenes but the other copy had it also. CTP's audio is a little loud though which caused static on my setup during loud scenes. Audio in Centropy's is better though cause I did notice the small echo that TCF said in their *.nfo.
Other than that I can't say anymore that the *.nfo has already. Overall I think the TCF copy outdoes Centropy's since it's just as good and much smaller. Both copies are great but I'm going to keep this copy until something better comes out. Hats off to both groups for high quality stuff, now bring on 2 Fast 2 Furious and HULK!

I don't get it....maybe my CTP rls is screwed up....Mine had a very loud buzz during the quiet scenes but performed perfectly on the scenes with music and action...I am re-downloading as speak....I still want a ultra-nice TS from Reloaded...like perfect TS...like X2 quality...

Very confused about this. How this has any reason to be compared to the CTP version i do not know.Even in the lightest scenes (When neo is in the hall with all the doors) it is still really dark.I think this has more in common with the original Esoteric release if you ask me.The Audio on this is terrible as stated in the NFO (Honesty,i like that).
Therefore i say the only thing going for this is that its 2 disc.
Video 6
Audio 5
Film 10 obviously .
This is the sixth release i have grabbed and have watched each one the whole way through. Stick with the CTP,thats my opinion.

quote:You sure you got the right release bro? Cause it seems brighter to me in dark scenes than CTP version, I would post screenshots if I had a website to host them . And the sound was on par with the CTP release for me. Well we all have our own view I guess but it was enjoyable and better overall for me than the others.

I hate the angle on ctp's release, and comparing the 2, even though ctp has a higher bitrate going over 3 cds, theres no more blockyness/pixelation in the high motion scenes in this one over ctp's. My dad's $50,000 projector is in the shizop biznitch, so I can't fix ctp's angle, otherwise Id go with ctp, cause the audio is better.
All things concidered, this is the best release, but not worth getting if you already got ctp's though.
ok, i compared a scene from the ctp with the same scene in tcf, and i still think the ctp is best. even though the ctp is majorly cropped, it actually has color, AND it has MUCH better sound. the tcf's sound was extremely distorted...
Going by sample it looks great, but yes the audio is not as good as ctp's. Still 2 disks make it hella worth while....if you can find it anywhere that is ...I think i need new sources
iiiiiiiiiiight its good, but centropy had a better release... good internal tho tcf
Top Marks for the guys @ TCF, pity the quality isn't up to the standard of Centropy Version...All the same guys well done...keep it up.
We know when a movie release from Centropy & TCF we can go out and get the Pepsi & the Popcorn Ready.
tHe dO
