Ok, i skipped through the whole thing now, and i have to admit, that i am a little dissaponted.

Actually i am a DVDrip only-guy, and i never knew what Telecine was until now.

I think this movie alot more like a Telesync than i thought it would.
So i am still really looking forward to a DVDrip or DVDscr.

But, geez its the best so far (isnt it?)

About the Mono sound...

In response to the question about the "mono sound", let me reiterate my earlier response.

I NEVER judge by samples. I always judge by the entire release. Now, I imagine it is possible that the version I got had been "downgraded" or something, possibly screwing the audio up - who knows. It's almost impossible to tell sometimes...

BUT -

In my copy of Replica's Matrix Reloaded TC, the sound only comes through the RIGHT CHANNEL. I am playing it on a Dolby Digital 5.1 system - as I do with all of my movies. I also plugged in the headphones to see what it sounded like (since I am a bit hard of hearing). Right channel comes through decent enough - left channel was completely silent (and I tested this during the opening sequence with Trinity blasting out of the window, firing on the Agent... Should have been a perfect point for testing...)

I HAVE the Centropy release as well, and that one sounds incredible (especially for a TS). This one doesn't sound anywhere near as good - not to mention you have the bad syncs...

ANYONE HERE have the same problem with the FULL RELEASE(Not the damn sample...)? The Mono Sound?

I watched Charlies Angels 2 TS last night, and that one was fine (audio both channels on headphones, came through all speakers also)

Hmm intresting, neither me or my friend got that issue, we got perfect clear stereo. Have you tried another media player or output mode?

Well, I watched the first disc on my DVD player on my 36" TV with the sound being piped through my Dolby Digital/DTS receiver, and I gotta say I think it's damned nice! The sound is incredible...for a telecine with a hacked together audio track from another groups telesync. The picture is as clear as you could ask for without getting a DVD screener, reminds me of when I used to rent old VHS tapes at Blockbuster that had been watched 100 times before I got to it.

Regardless tho, this release is very nice and will likely hold me over until something ripped from a DVD or the DVD itself comes out.

wow been long time since i add my 2 cents but i sticking with the ctp till a dvdscr dont waste time i usuly waite till a dvd scr of a movie is realsed and download it anyway but with matrix i made an exeption.

How can you even compare the CTP release to this one? Yes, there are a few parts where the audio sync problem rears it's ugly head, but the video quality is exceptional for a telecine, much more vivid than CTP's TS.

I don't post much here because everybody is so godamned weird.

PLEASE for your own sake, stop before you're flamed to bits and quoted in everybody's sigs

If you haven't got FTP access it's going to be a day or two before it filters down onto IRC and eons before it's on Kazaa (by which point it'll be reencoded into Quicktime or something equally shite).

Anyway, for those of us that do understand forum rules... If you have the CTP version AND you don't get all moist thinking about Matrix movies, don't bother. If you're a Matrix obsessive or haven't got a copy already - grab this (sync problems aside, it's the best version).

Movie 9.5 (Nothing ever deserves a 10, cus Matrix 3 will kick a$$)

ir you mean that there is only sound coming ftom one side, call it 'single-channel sound', so as to distinguish it from 'mono' sound, whih can be dual-channel but still mono.

10? What are you high on glue? The first part of this movie sucked ass. Than when they showed Keanus ass i almost puked into my popcorn. Due to the fact that I almost fell asleep and if it wasnt for the coke i bought i would have. It kept me awake untill the second half which was by far much better. I give the the second have a B+. for and overall grade of a C+. They made this move into 3 parts because they are greedy bastards and almost ruined the movie. I hope they dont do the same in the 3rd part.

I think of Reloaded as part 1 of a 2 part movie, and the original Matrix was more of a preface to the actual story. You can look at it and feel however you want about it, but I thought it was an exceptional film and I look forward to the conclusion.
