-- The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen *DUPE* *SVCD* - TELESYNC - Centropy (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=23927)
Whats happened? This isn't the usual quality that were used to....Centropy!! I hope that standards aren't slipping because we've been used to great releases recently and i'm hoping that this is a one off. The angle is more obvious in this release than the rest (but thats my opinion), sound is the normal that we'd expect. Come on boys don't let us down anymore and get back on track to provide us with the best telesyncs ....ever!!!

well i feel that the nox version, now that ive watched it on my apex, is simply no good in dark scenes, and is really pixelated. ive always loved ctp, the only release i couldnt watch was anger management, the "angle" thing really is funny guys cause see how the other groups are having that "angle" now? the nox has one, this ctp release has one, but saying that i like ctps color, sound is great as usual. man lol at everyone who is giving this like 6s its just a little worse than their standard. keep it real ctp, fuck all the haters.

Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly
I'm sticking with the NOX release since its not cropped to hell and does have very good audio and looks good on my TV.
CTP you should really work on that cropping.... the angle is nothing to be bothered about IMHO.
The nox release audio was out of sync. and vid was too dark.
Centropy made the proper adjustments for this release.
Lets balance the score.
10/10/8
actually the nox version is also cropped and tilted to the left.
but as stated by many ...i will stick with it.
beats the angle of the ctp release.
:: don't post love letters to your favorite group here. Talk about the RELEASE QUALITY. -K::
Godammit! - What is this? The Summer of Many Angles?
I *HATED* the NOX release of this and panned it to crap - but this ain't a patch on it.
VIDEO: Colours more vibrant... but looks like they got someone in the front row seats pointing a cheap digi-cam at the screen while Billy No-Mates keeps watch for security guards. Grainy too.
AUDIO: In sync, but not as good as NOX
Totally unwatchable.
Burn all copies you download and go to the cinema.
Centropy... what are you doing?!?
Sinbad and T3 were AWESOME!
This is below average and should be NUKED yesterday.
5/4/?
Hey m-drew - think twice before calling people who like Centropy dick suckers - we ain't the ones with "God Bless TCF" under our nicks. Gnnooooorrrrrrffffff!!!! And we don't like ALL their shit.
The quality of this release isn't as good as the NoX version in my humble opinion. The same with the audio, so it deserves a dupe. The movie was decent but not that great.
6/5/7
The rating system on this site has gone completely into the crapper. Looking at the ratings for this CTP release the video votes range from 3 to 10 and the audio 2 to 10. Nox's release ranges from 1-10 on the video and 1-10 on the audio.
C'mon people this is ridiculous. Too many people with personal favorite groups are just voting to prop up their favorites and shoot down the competitors. These ratings have become useless to anyone looking for a reference on which version to watch. Try to be objective here people, vote on how the damn video/audio looks not on your lust/hate for particular groups.
::Sorry for the rant, had to get it off my chest::

uhh un centropy like. . .
there is a huge angle and it makes this not worth the download

Finally... I knew NOX were going places... this release is nothing to the nox release... it's brightened too much, the sound isn't as good. What's more they have the trademark (although worse than usual) centropy angle... with the horrific cropping... CTP get a grip on the cropping!
Anyways sorry to rant... as a standalone, not compared to nox's release i'd say the pic is fairly clear a bit too bright in certain parts of the movie. sound is ok, definetely audible. I'd say 7/7/6
here's my 2 cents!
NOX = was fine in powerdvd but slightly out of sync on standalone.
CTP = was fine either way so ill keep it in my collection till scr/dvdr.
so either rls is will do if you really want to see this flick so props to both grps.
then again just my 2 cents thank you & timmay!

definetly watchable. colors were faded. movie was decent.
NOX was 1st to the punch and delivered a very watchable rls with great sound and a very decent pic quality (though, fuzzy in dark scenes). There is a huge angle in the NOX rls (noticeable during the openning credits), but we have seen bad cropping/angles in ctp releases, too... so... This round goes to NOX for great quality and a fast rls.
This movie is not as bad as some people make it out to be. It's a pretty intriguing story/hook and it is well done. It's a very decent movie. No, it's not The Godfather or some great oscar-worthy classic... but it gets the job done as far as being original and delivering a good 2hr ride to be enjoyed by all. It also has some good twists along the way, which puts it a cut above the other comparable films... Get this release!!!!
Oh, I meant to say.... GET THE NOX RELEASE!!!
Sorry, ctp... you didn't get the job done right on this rls.

This release was fine.video is nice, and so is audio.
I like to have what I watch in snyc and the Nox version is not.
If I had to pick one I would pick this one. They both were nice, but that out of sync stuff I cant stand.
The angle I could care less about. I'm just glad the groups are putting the stuff out. Its free so stop bitching. no one owes you guys anything. Dont like it? just dont download the stuff. go to the theaters or wait for the dvd to be in store.
For eveyopne that always flames groups, Just start releasing your own stuff so we can compare your stuff to theirs if you think its so easy. I have to say big thanks to all the groups for sharing this stuff with us all, even though some people are so critical and dont apreciate it. I do apreciate what you all are doing.
Good job CTP
7/7/8
I get the feeling that half the people posting these comments haven't even seen the damn movie, only the sample. Most likely because they don't want to admit they can't find the password; I'm watching the movie right now. I've seen the SWS version, and the NOX version, and aside from the classic Centropy angle job and a little too much contrast, this version puts both others TO SHAME I SAY!!!
VIDEO - Nice TS, whites are blown out, not enough contrast in dark scenes to distinguish actors from background
AUDIO - A little Bassy at times but Great!
MOVIE - Slow paced, short spurts of action, kinda fun and kinda boring. The CG Mr. Hyde looks 100 times more realistic than The CG Hulk!!
7/8/8
good release.. worth the bandwidth
Just finished watching this one on the Large Screen Tele, and I thouroghly enjoyed it. Not sure why folks are getting so complacent with the quality of movies only a week old. With that said, I found the quality to be excellent on this release. Not perfect, but damn good. Very slight angle.. not an issue. Lighting not perfect, but again .. not an issue. Overall a very good release.
8/8/8
Thanks CTP!
hmm
Centropy as always delivers another very nice rls
Video-nice ts, 8
Audio-best part, 8.5
Movie-err, not great, entertaining, 7
video a little washy, sound great. I've viewed all versions of this movie and ctp's version is buy far the best i've seen.
8/8/7.5
