This movie looks to have potential... I have only watched disk 1, because I want to see the full movie. I will probally head to the theaters tomorrow instead of waiting for a proper, or repack. Besides the missing minutes.. a great release 7/8/NA!

hhmmmm....Centropy been gone for a while, this new group " TCR " start releasing some pretty good stuff.............. makes you wonder if Centropy has changed their name to try and get rid of the bad reputation everyone here has given them.....?

" Terrific Centropy Releases " maybe?

Anyway, 8/8/?

: or perhaps The Cinema Rapists as it says in the NFO ? and if you think centropy or any other group worth their salt would change name because of what xdcc kids on here say you're seriously mistaken -pHo

Nice release except for the probs already stated by others in this thread with the missing bit between cd1 and 2, the overlap between cd2 and 3 didn't bother me I just f/forwarded to the candy store again. A really good movie, I enjoyed this 1

8/8/9

Great quality, especially for the first release. Usually we have to wait for 2 or 3 releases to get decent quality. Too bad about the missing scene between disc 1 and 2. 8/7/9

Don't think TCR is Centropy because...

Hi -

I don't think Centropy would make the mistake of releasing a title with missing scene(s). If they did somehow, I'd assume they'd do a repost in short order. But that's just my 2 cents.

Props to TCR again. Another fine TS

One nice TS you have here. Audio is pretty good, PIC has been cropped (Particularly on the left of screen) Some motion blur but
it is nonetheless a good job ! Nice to see good quality from groups other than CTP. Keep it up ! 8|7|9

TCR Releases

I see everybody typing how good the quality of this Open Range is and I totally agree. The only thing that I'm stumped on is how to burn this bad boy off onto CD so I can watch it in the DVD player. I have two releases by TCR, Freddy Vs. Jason and Open Range and I can't burn off either one. I'm using Nero Burning Rom Version 6.0 Any tips?

Click File----> Open, then change "files of type" to All *.*. Now select the .cue file and it'll be ready to burn.

wow! watched this on my tv and the pic was the best (for a ts) i've seen in a long time. didn't notice any flashing on my tv... only thing i noticed was the tint would change every once and awhile.
sound was good also but was a little scratchy in the voices.
movie was kinda boring to me but i'm not a big western fan.

video = 8
sound = 7

Actually there a version of Legally Blonde 2 posted by Centropy on 8/10. Just wish people would not say Centropy is gone unless they know for a fact there's a problem.

Just my 2 cents,

Yeah, ctp rlsed Legally Blonde 2 on 8/10, BUT IT WASN'T A TS!!!!! Just wish people would not say ctp isn't dead on TS's that don't know shit and who simply don't know the difference between a TS and a DVD Screener. Good rls on TCR's part, bit cropped and the missing scene from cd1 to cd2 is only a minute or two, nothing significant. Overall, great rls for n00bs *sarcasm* 8/8/8

BTW, if you think ctp changed there name, etc etc, you have to be kidding me. It feels like de ja vu with all these treads when ctp stopped rlsing TS's the first time. GET OVER IT PEOPLE.

To NOVAWIRE - just select burn image from the file menu of Nero. It will prompt you to load the cue file. Recommend you use CDRWIN from Golden Hawk instead of Nero for cue & bin files.

Pissed off.

I dl'd this yesterday when it was listed as DVD SCR, and reading the .NFO, it says the source is DVD. Maybe they got it on a DVD from someone, but that doesn't make it a DVD Screener!

What a load of crap. I'm glad they corrected the listing here, but it's obviously a telesync, where they annoyingly cropped off the sides. They apparently took their time and did a decent job, but as said before there are a few flaws on the screen (that do not move), and the sound crackles when it spikes (obviously miced instead of line in).

This movie could have been shorter, if costner knew how to edit.

7/7/7.

Just watched it... very nice.

8/8/7

not as much action in the movie as I thought there'd be but still good to watch when you don't have much else to do.

Maybe a little late for this but i just watched this release and maybe it's just the fact that I watched it on a big screen but man can there be more motion blur? sound wasnt all that good either I give this release 7/7/8.5 if anyone cares. I'll definately watch this again when the dvd comes out

Posted by starwars22 on 08-24-2003 10:59 PM:

watched this last night, video quality is very good and clear, color tint changes a few times during the movie, audio is good and understandable the only problem I heard was when someone first says a word loud the sound will sound scratchy almost like their barking but only for the first word of the sentence the rest is very clear. the scene missing between disk 1 and 2 doesnt seem like anything major is lost because I easily knew what was going on right away.

8/7/7

Thumbs up

very nice release 7/6/?

Posted by LOLobo on 08-25-2003 08:50 AM:

Thumbs up

I haven't seen a release that's looked this nice in a while. The detail was so crisp on the TV. I haven't watched the whole thing, seems to have a slow start.

Audio is beautiful as well

I just don't like full screen or *near* full screen. Don't crop my edges. Which is overriden by - beggars can't be choosers. F-me for bitchin'.

Beautiful release. Hope movie is as good as MS says.

8/9/?

Just burnt this to disc and it looks top notch. Thats two great TCR releases, thanks very much.

Posted by Commy on 09-02-2003 04:47 AM:

Yeah, so I watched The Untouchables earlier today and it made me want to watch this tonight. Just wondering about how much time is actually missing between cd1 - cd2. Anything vital?
