saw the sample of this copy, its not all that great, 6/7/9

the dice rip is easily the best so far, cig burns or not.

Ok, so anyone know what's being uploading to the newsgroups then as of today? I grabbed the sample, video is about 3.5Mbps and Audio is reported as DD5.1, can't really comment on the quality compared to the PDVD as the poster chose the anime scene for the sample. Sample also has Dutch subs.

Why another release?

I have a DVDRip of this movie already. Maybe the DVDRip wasn't officially released?

All these so called 'DVD rips' are CROPPED and are NOT widescreen.

Check this 'dvd rip':

http://static.vcdquality.com/sample/id21288.jpg

and the tcs version:

http://morepower.themole.nl/upload/filez/2.jpg

Sorry for the bad capture but I dunno how to capture full-screen.

Anyway, you will see that all the 'dvd' versions out there are NOT widescreen and that's why they are nukes. Also all the xvid releases like the DiCe version are CROPPED!

Ah I see, just noticed my copy had the cropped subbed. I thought it didn't as some subtitles aren't cropped, whereas some are.

Shit.

well i must say the best release of this movie so far is Kill.Bill.Vol1.2003.NTSC.DUTCHSUBS.DVDR-DiVISO, i think there is an svcd of this too. only thing are the subs, but it includes scans of the case, so its legit. looks damn good too!

Turn my head up,
looking at the stars

I still wonder where you are?
Dust myself up
and I scream at the sky
Every day I ask myself why?
So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

jesus, all these idiots still moaning about a "dvdrip" of this... ask yourself WHY the rls groups chose to crop it...

Posted by Master_Zen on 01-16-2004 11:48 PM:

I own the work print(it made a nice DVD-R too)...I wonder about some of u who post these comments...I mean how can u base a comment if u only saw a jpeg? Very Suspect indeed. Either way I have a copy already but these colors are kinda vivid...I wasn't able to see a sample due to heavy queues...but when I do I'll be truthful and give it a REAL RATING...unlike these fake ones...(shakes head).Though I could wait for the reatail cuz the WP has held me down for a while.
