Posted by Virii2012 on 04-18-2004 02:52 PM:

Credits

in the middle of grabbing this right now, judgin by sample nice video and good audio, can anybody tell me if this release has the credits or if they're cut off

7/8/? (Although I'm sure its going to be great)

Posted by KrackZaa on 04-18-2004 03:04 PM:

the credits are there, at least through the part where they show all the characters including those from the first movie, and their real names.

So much pain pouring
from inside
Above me I feel the spirit fly

Sound near perfect.
Picture- mostly well done..except for beginning..colors messed up..Also, somehwere in the middle when she leaves her car, the cam cut the picture in half...but was soon corrected...Overall, though nice picture..
Movie was better than 1st. Actually had a story to it...not all fighting..

Overall, very well done TCR..grab this release..its all ya need..

Very solid release 7(the highest any TS should ever be givin)/7/10

Not the best TS ever but since the movie is rather dark throught most of the movie beside when shes training it would be rather hard to capture the depth of the detail.

I have to say I loved volume 1 but volume 2 is even better.
I cant wait till a DVD screener comes out. Then I will be able to edit and cut it all down to 1 full movie without parts.

Anyways go see it in theaters and then grab this release untill there is a dvd screen or maybe a Japanese Telecine.

Posted by jeex on 04-18-2004 06:39 PM:

people are voting this too high.

its an above average TS with good sound.

during the opening scene the colors (what few there were) were washed out and a bit too bright, you can see them trying to adjust the camera throughout the scene.

the rest of the movie looked okay.

in a later scene in the movie where the picture was kinda split, this is an obvoius theater fuckup.. i dont think tarrentino would try to do something like that to be "cool", when its obviously retarded.

like almost everyone else has said, great audio. i have no complaints.

there is room for improvement, but not until a screener or dvdrip comes out.

this was a pretty good movie, not as good as the first volume (which was awesome), but it was definetly NOT a let down.

Thumbs up

Wow, very nice release!
The video is neatly cropped and kinda bright in some scenes
The audio, imo, is kinda hollow and there is a slight hiss? But other than that, this is great!

A7/V8/M? - only have 1st CD )8

The First 20 posts are dumb on this , time to get my two bits in. This is far from a "flawless" TS , "Best" TS , and all the other raves about this copy. This kinda reminds me of Centropys passion of the christ but worse.

1) The Colors fade in & out , get reddish tint now and then, colors are constant changing.
2) Guy walks infront of the screen 3 mins into the movie and face is so clear i could pick him outta a lineup in local supermarket.
3) Copy is cropped.
4) CD2 for 6 minutes the Picture Splits into half, the bottom of the Screen is on the top , top is on the bottom.
5) sound was screwed.

This is far from a nice TS & could easily be propered , Props to TCR for the fast release but definatly not a keeper.

4/8/9

not sure if most people who posted have actualy watch the movie all the way through but disk 3 has quite a lot of slow down on it, disk 2 does have the 2 parts of the screen upsidedown but i think that is part of the movie.

sound is very good for this sort of release.

film itself is a big let down, loved the first one but this was shit.

fell asleep 3 times on disk 1 it was that boring.

video 5
sound 7
film 4

lets just hope this movie is better then the first one hehe :P

First, Iwill report all glitches that I observed:

1. First few minutes of movie, some guy walks across the screen.

2. During first 5 minutes of film during flashback scene, color was blue, then was color corrected to proper black and white.

3. In middle of CD2, screen splits in half for a tad over 3 minutes, then is corrected.

4. I seem to be the ONLY one to report this, but CD3 is choppy. Frame rate drops from 29.97 fps to what appears to be about 15 to 18 fps. Wasn't my encoder. I double checked the settings. Upon checking CD3, it even reports to be encoded at 29.97fps, yet it is quite choppy.

5. End credits have people getting up and covering the screen during showing of cast members from parts 1 and 2.

With all the above said, this was still a GOOD quality release. The only thing that really bothered me was the drop of fps during CD3. Other than that, I thought the release as a whole was GREAT in quality. OH! and I forgot to mention that the sound was a bit on the tinny sounding side, but that didn't bother me at all.

- Video 7 (would have been a 8.5 were it not for the choppiness of CD3.

- Audio 7

- Movie 7 (I know I'm in the minority for saying this, but I liked the first one BETTER).

To avoid confusion someone should mention how Hero isn't a Tarantino movie, that it's not new, and that it's already been released and is out on DVD.

Posted by ShadyInc on 04-19-2004 05:08 AM:

Another good TCR release.

7/8/?

Posted by AAjax on 04-19-2004 05:43 AM:

Well, very watchable.
That said I would give it a 7/8/8

Video on first disk is a 6 but picks up near the end.

I had the exact same problem with this when testing it out, however it was fine on my other computer, and fine on my standalone.
