Umm I have both releases of this flick.. And the Repack seems to have moved the camera up just a touch higher.. Excellent pic and sound..A worthy telecine rls... However, now the subs are indeed in english and not French, but they are still cut off.. U can read em, but i thought the REPACK would address this issue guess not.. Will Definitely do me till the the DVDRip or screener for Subtitle fix..Call me picky. I don't care LOL.. Enjoy

ok i dont mean to diss a good release like this, it is a pretty good TC... but fuck cropping its a godamn TC, if anything is hard coded to the video, fuck it, the cropping made it hard to impossible to read U.S. subs, specially the 2nd lines of them, i will wait, saw in theatres 1st day, and it turned me off, its alot less than the 1st, but good in perspective as a 2 part movie, either way this rls is video 7: reason is its cropped there is no reason to crop a TC ever, even with mixed subs... audio, what do u expect from Vid cd? 9-10, dts or direct sound always rule, and the movie itself... i guess its 7 no more, nice end in all, but as a 2nd part its lame
ok... thats all, a bad TC IMO... no need for cropping with or w/o foreign subs, i give this some gratitude, but i will wait til i can read the subs clearly:
as a TC: video 9 but cropped 7
sound: what do u expect, a lil less than it should be 9
movie period: i thought its good, but a 8 no more, maybe 7, just 2 slow compared to the first
Awesome release movie was kind of disappoint compared to Vol 1.
8.5/10/7
This movie lacked action and was way to predicable. The way Bill dies was like bah nothing to exciting at all. The part when she steps on the eye is pretty bad though lol
very crisp video, slight hiss on audio... BUT, there is some really intense frame dropping going on. its even noticable in the sample. every 5-10 seconds, the video "jumps" or "skips"... basically it loses between 10 and 30 frames (1/2 second, or 1 second fully drops out of the video), which was enough to make me delete it =[ i'm suprised this wasnt 'internal'
personally, i'll be sticking with the amazing telesync (thanks VideoCD!!!) until a proper of this telecine, or a dvdscr. sorry VideoCD, i love ya, but this was a waste of bandwidth =[
2 (unwatchable with those frame drops, imho... gave it a 2 since it's really crisp) /8/10

retired from the scene, but still leechin!
At the end, for a BRIEF second, it says something like "EXTREME EDITION EXTRAS" with a picture of Pai Mei punching through wood..
Kill.Bill.Vol.2.Telecine.dvdr-VideoDVD
i don't know if this is of any revelence, but there is a dvdr of this floating around now by VideoDVD. im not sure if the subs on this are cropped or not, i hope they're not since i'm geying a dvd burner next week and wouldn't mind having this.
VideoDVD rel is the same cropped, half-visible sub, frame-skipping stuff as SVCD rel
I've noticed the same things that scorch has, at the beginning (quite briefly) there is what appears to be the screen from a dvd menu, and at the end some text flashes up (couldn't read it) and off again with a picture of Pai Mei.
Seems to me that a TRUE Telecine wouldn't have those little additions, so what was the source?

This release looked good to me. The vid was nice and audio was pretty good also. IMHO a pretty good TC. Props to VideoCD once again
