Does anybody else get the hiss in the background then what i get?

And the little 2 second freeze-repeat sound about 20 seconds in on the title credits?

Tried dvd dcrypter etc, extracted the files using iso buster and chapter 7 onwards just dont work, not even through the pc :-(.

I wish I only had to worry about 5.1 or not hehehe.

I have burned and tested it with 3 players and all of them played it fine. Is the problem right at the chapter break or while playing 7?

Don't know if this will work but you might be able to have DVDShrink reprocess (no compression of course) and see if it fixes your problem. Don't think Get VTS Sectors in IFOEdit will correct it but that MAY be another option. Oh, and use DVD-RW to test if your not. I am naturally assuming that your not and that is why you have 7 bad discs.

Good luck....

sample was quite nice (tested it on my xbox using xbmc) shame there's no 5.1 in the sample to see what that sounds like but i'm getting it nonetheless...

how do ppl get 5.1 on there in the first place? do they just mix it themselves or, say, get it to send the front l/r output to the rear too? just a thought from a n00b or whatever i'm called these days...

just received the proper dvd rls. seems rather nice !

i don't have the problem with chapter 7 - been watching it on powerdvd skipping to and fro to the good bits. just gonna test it on the dvd player with the dd5.1 but i'm starting to agree with what ppl are saying about them mixing the tracks together to get the 5.1

hi, i got this release a while ago and have to say, the video is very good, although does seem a little blurry. The audio is good but as Mistar Muffin has said, is nothing as good as the Xvid Cartel copy, which has true 5.1 surround sound.

Out of curiosity Mistar Muffin, how did you sync and multiplex the audio with the dvdr video, i've been trying but running into quite a few problems.

Thanks for any help
