Nothing wrong with the quality on this, as for the cut off heads, not convinced it wasn't filmed like that till i see the DVD.
There is subtitles in this release.

Also noticed the bitrate stays at 2.45mbps on this, and this film is only around 2 hours same as I Robot.

Tun are encoding these as CBR to save time for them, rather than a VBR 3-4 pass and put it on 2 CD's.

Maybe it's the difference between watching this on the computer and watching it on a television, but on my TV I couldn't see any real problems with this encode at all. The subtitles were fine, video quality was fine, and sound was fine. There were times when the scene looked a bit washed-out, but since most of the movie didn't have that problem, I'm inclined to chalk that up to the dreary British atmosphere. I would've prefered it to fit on only 2 cds, but I'm not especially bitter about losing the 20 cents for that third disc.

Anyway, I thought it was fine, and I even liked the movie. I doubt that any other version of Guinevere after this will ever seem as cool as Kiera Knightley's, in my mind.

King Arthur no sound?

Hey guys, i just got this "King Arthur Telecine DivX HIGH QUALITY" and i have no sound. Nothing at all and there seems to be no audio stream according to virtual dub. Whats going on here. Tried a few players but if virtual dub says theres no audio then thats real strange.

Any suggestions?

Just wish they would stop lying in their nfos and stuff and actually try to release stuff which is worth while.

pic is pixelated, has annoying sidebars and audio is subpar imo.

5/6

I can correct you and tell you this IS telecines. but i can also tell you that TUN encoders aren't that experienced yet. give them time!. if you notice the group METEOR which releases all the telecines on dvdr right after you can get a confirm that its tc so knock of the whining or start releasing yourself
