Going off of the sample clip..Pic has just a VERY a lil bit of flicker to it, but good lord. this is a niceee job.. i however, didnt like the box screen picture(if yours wasn't like this it may have been just the source i dl'd), so i made it widescreen, but other than that.. Great job..The NFO however wasnt very nice.. , only seeing the bad reviews and not the good..but as someone here said a few post back...by every one wanting your version should be considered a way of setting the standard. not a burden or be told to go get a different source! as the nfo did.. but all in all this is VERY watchable!! if the entire file is as clean as the sample , a newer version wont be needed till a Tc at least.. so.. if it isnt. hey i can always use Canopus Procoder on it. he he..

Films was disapointing the video was very dark in places ala AVP. It was very nice in places but with a dark film like this it suffers.

Watchable certainly, much better than any copy around at the moment but not as great as some wold lead you to believe.

Thanks Maven.

Downed this morning and just watched it now.

Video is great, it's a dark movie 8
Audio is excellent though I'm just listening in Stereo 8
Movie was good for a zombie flick and the chicks make it so an extra star 6
Few seconds missing, not a problem.

I didn't see it in the theaters, but even so... 136 frames is only ~5 seconds at standard PAL or NTSC framerates.

As for the release -
V: 7
A: 8
M: ? - Looks promising though... I like bad movies that make up for the lack of a story with 100% action and violence, and while skipping through it I didn't hit one "lull" scene.

little dark as stated..watched whole movie...one shadow moves across screen on cd1 in a very dark scene so not really a problem.

Nice release maVen

Nice release.

But my god, what a diabolical excuse for a movie. I've given my cd's away of it already.

Movie = 1/10

Posted by Redemption198 on 09-15-2004 05:28 AM:

Nice release, its dark but cant fault maven for that.

9/9/?
Not watched yet, but i like the first one, and you need dumb, fun films like this.

Remember when we have to use to wait for Centropy to post a quality release? They were always top of the line, but took forever...

Along comes maVen and raises the bar dramaticaly!

Decent movie, Great release (and quick too!)

8.5/8/7.5

Posted by HATECORE on 09-15-2004 06:25 AM:

Quality is pretty good but it doesnt help since the movie is dark. Get annoying sometimes when you try to see the faces or other detail, i put my TV brightness to the max but i didnt really help.

Sound is really good.

I loved the movie itself, way much better then the first one and atleast this time there was one character from the gameoh and NEMESIS rocks!!! Cant wait to see what they will come up with in the 3rd movie...maybe chris redfield!?

7/9/8

Good job maVen

i'm lost.. explain to me how you open a rar that now in bin/cue and watch just one rar or two...

I've been only able to rename a .vob to .mpg or a .rar to .mpg only if the .rar is xxx.. scene standards and rules call for all VCD/SVCD movies to be in bin/cue and then its rared .. or its a nuke!!

just curious@

I think most people on here do this, i usually download 2-3 rars from CD2, instead of the sample.

Its easily done, if you still have all the rars from a release, just name one of them, from .rar to .mpg, works fine, even if the file inside is in bin format.

Only one recently i couldnt do that with was Tegs Two Brothers Screener.
