Picture is amazing for being such a dark movie. Sound is perfect as always from VideoCD. Movie was kinda lame.

Tinge dark, tinge blur, still completely watchable and enjoyable from sample.
8/8/?
I heard you should see it in IMAX for best effect.

Does anyone else here find that stuff is only too dark on the PC.

Everything dark has been OK when i watch it on the TV, apart from Saw, but i saw that at the Cinema and it the same.

I tried this on the TV and it looked amazing for a TS, I wish The Incredibles was this good.

9/9/?

Posted by garvey100 on 11-13-2004 02:05 PM:

I know excatly what you mean Redemption. Not only does the darkness sort itself out on normal tv but also the flicker is virtually nil compared with pc monitor.....must be to do with resolution I think

great quality flick 8/8/9

also the people saying that it is dark on their computer.....it also may be the way your computer is processing the mpg2 file....if i am wrong please correct me but isn't mpg2 the standard for standalone dvd players and not computers and .avi is the standard for computers so it would figure if you wanted to watch the video on your computer you should get it in avi format not mpg....if i am wrong please let me....

fucking hell, judging by half the posts here it looks like the board is over-run by videocd members
lets get back to reality for a moment however...
one of the best telesyncs of the past 2 years? no , not even close
great audio ? the audio is nice, but its damned quiet

terrible for motion blur throughout . also, the first 2 pages of posts fail to mention that the last few minutes of will totally screw up your's and your childrens heads unless you are of course able to read french

overall good release, but nowhere near fucking excellent

6.5/6/10

just watched entire release, must say the sound was a bit quiet, but thats what the volume control is for. Video is excellent, of course its dark, the entire movie takes place between approx 10pm and 12.00 midnight.
the movie, whilst my 8yo daughter loved it, made me want to scrub my eyeballs with something nasty. The animation is soulless, the cheese is thicker than the cheesiest cheesy thing you have ever seen, give me "its a wonderful life" or "Miracle on 34th St" anytime!!

Nice ass releasing. The Finding Nemo telsync is still the BEST TS ever released imo though. This release does get a little dark at some points .. and at some points, it's nice, bright, & clear and almost looks like a damn good screener. Audio was fuckin great on the home theater, movie was extremely good imo. *** 1/2 from me.

8.2/9/9

the polar express

I think people need to sit back and think about where all these movies come from! People go sit in cinemas, set up cams, set up stupid fiddly audio devices to try and get a TS!
For what? Money? nah! they do it cos they love movies! some are shit some are better some are WOW! but we all get them for fuck all!
IMO props to the groups for having the bollocks to go sit in cinemas with a cam on a fucking tripod, to get the movie to you ASAP!
END OF!
enjoy whats on offer, because every now and then it dries up! and what would we do then!
love um or loath um!My kids loved it, don't come out here for another 2 weeks, kept them quiet for 90 mins yesterday and again today!
sweet!
when the retail dvdr comes out i'll be sorted, till then this will do!
thanks!
Study!

C'mon guys think, remember the old saying " Don't bite the hand that feeds you " ?

More importantly it's a violation of section XII-3: Statutes A1..A17 Code of Ethics, of the Honor among Thieves Constitution.

i am not saying that you can't play it on a computer...i obviously know you can play anything on a computer with the proper codecs.....what i am saying is that an mpg2 will look different on a stand alone dvd player then it would on a computer.....as a video card would process the data differently on a computer then a dvd player

Posted by buttmonkey on 11-14-2004 04:26 AM:

This is one of the best telesyncs I believe I have ever seen. The picture is almost crystal clear and the sound is right on for a svcd.

Video: 9
Audio:9
Movie 7 (was a little disappointed with this story but it is about Christmas )

ACCLAIMEDCREDIC,

Don't complain.....it is free you jackass!!!!!

i say : TELESYNC's by VideoCD rock the world of pre's...they're just incredible! this one is as good as "Shark Tale" and "Mean Girls", if you remember them.

8/9

video is a bit dark at the corners, had to brighten it up a little, looks better on a TV
sound is ok
