Really good release. Props for labeling it right. Pic is more than ok, a bit blocky but otherwise it is really good.

Sound aint that bad. At least you hear what is going on

Personally, i can honestly say this is the BEST cam ive ever seen, ive been on the scene for just over a year, and ive seen nothing conmared, the only way ts's are better is due to sound. But, even the sound is good here, video is awesome for a cam, massive props to UTi - great job. Usually i never download cams, if i do, i never watch/burn them due to the crap/unwatchable quality, but, when i took a look at the jpg, it urged me to grab the sample...and so i did, followed by the whole film

As well as being a great rls, its only 1 CD! The 56kers out there will love this rls, as we all will, a good quality rls + short download time, who could ask for more

Once again props,

Michaelangelo

video and sound are great.
really nice to have it on 1 cd too.

major props.

i hope they keep it up.

this rls was sooooo nice that it should been lables as a TS, LOL. that good. my question is this. UTI used svcd for road to perdition and it came out beutiful and if they used the PAL DV cam here they should done this as svcd too. cuz there is blockiness a lil bit but the pic is like one of the best vcds in awhile. the audio is great tooo. better than any FTF craplola. LOL i luv these guys cuz they dont rip and compete wit only asian silvers they guys do it themselves or at least got a better source. NICE JOB UTI

what honesty !!

major props on honesty alone. Some groups would call this a screener. Anyways this has a clear picture with decent enough sound.

Bit harsh isn't it man?? Think before this last month, how many pre-theater releases actually hit. Everyone else is relying on their asian supplies to get really bad quality "telesyncs" [yeah direct audio.. at least some point in its life] and when a group actually do their own thing, you give them below average ratings?

If you want perfect quality, then dont watch a telesync! Even with a semi-pro cam like a Canon XLS-1 you're not gonna get a perfect picture, and try getting one of those into a theater without being noticed! If you give this release a 4/4/x then I seriously hope you've given the unwatchable dirge thats also come out recently 1/1/x to compensate. Think how long after the theatrical release of MIIB and Minority Report decent copies came out, then realise this was done the day of release. This is the one release I will say where serious work and effort has probably gone on to bring the release, and whilst this should *NOT* be a reflection of the ratings, only the quality can speak for that, I believe this is one of the best theater rips this year, as its both high quality in visual, definitely listenable and very quick from the theater release, and I'm sorry that you happen to disagree. Peace

Overburning, how to?

I tried to burn Stuart Little 2 to one 80 min CDR using cdwin 3.9a, but when I went watch it on my DVD player it got pixelated towards the end and did not finish-I had to watch the rest from the bin file on my computer deamon tools. This is not the first this h happened to me, I had the same problem with Lilo and Stitch. Is there a certain setting or different program that supports overburning or is this just a common thing that I cant control?

impressive. watched the whole movie last night and pretty much liked it for a kid movie. video was pixalated some parts and color was decent. sound, pretty exelent for a cam, except some parts sounded hallow and you can hear the camera man caugh about 4 or 5 times though the movie.

i dunno wtf the people are smoking when giving this release a 5 or 6. This is the BEST release I've ever seen, even better then the CTP spiderman. Okay, so I only watched the sample (grabbing the rest now) but it looked damn good and the audio was better then most i've seen. Hell, this looks better hten 3/4 of the TS's and even better then some screeners. Props UTi!

well, It dont look as good to me as everyone is saying here, lots of blockyness, whites are real bleeched out (maybe 1 setting lower on your cams gamma setting might help Uti)
Audio is what you expect from a cam I guess.
Props for the release though, Im surprised it wasnt released sooner !

UTi please do svcd NTSC... for the main fact that when viewed on tv the image has to stretch less.... thus the image looks better... and for pixelation please do 4-6 pass encodes in cce.... id rather see u guys proper EVERY rls out 1 day later than to get the crap thats been coming out of the dumpster lately... its been a nightmare TAKE OVER AND DO IT LIKE CTP DID BUT EVEN BETTER!
and please ntsc some dvd players play pal in black and white :P
hate to ahve to reencode just to get it in ntsc :-)

Burning Problems

ncaa76 i noticed that your problem is probably cdrwin 3.9. Try using the lastest version of nero. Click File>Burn From Image. and select the bin/cue files. Also, the best way to ensure a safe burn is to extract the mpg file using vcdgear (www.vcdgear.com) and burn that as a vcd in Nero. Hope it helps.

Didn't know this was a help area but what the hey. Rename the uti file to a bin.

As for the film people judged from the jpg it seems cause the movie isn't all that. Granted it's pretty damn good for a cam, but once again the jpg rating kicks in. The whole movie looked a tad bit blocky on my computer and my DVD player. The sample did indeed look nice and given it's a VCD it's pretty good, what I am saying is that the rating seems overinflated. Nice release, I'm not bitching about it just saying that the high marks usally reserved for well done svcds. It's free I know this, and just giving my view..

Well as long as I have been downing movies...I sat by and read comment after comment about this group and that group and quality this and on and on.....

This almost reminds me of the days of my 3dfx card is better than your nvidia card....

Movies are free for us by groups that stick their neck out to put these things out...some are gonna be better than others as is everything....get over it...no one is forcing you to download shit...you make the decision to logon and Q up.

I myself always come here to read the comments and look at the pic....but I would never vote on a pic.....I pull the sample and then make a decision whether to down the release or not....

Word of advice...not from a newbie...Im new to the boards, not the scene....some movies will and do look much worse playing from your damn PC....almost ALWAYS look better played from DVD..

Anyway ups to UTI for this CAM....stellar Video and Audio

8/8/8 Movie is actually funny
