for what it's worth........i've just checked both samples,and the ViGiLANTE version is miles better.Tegs rel has bad sound and picture,and the picture also looks slanted.

Yup same source as tegs rls , i did the same as they did cropped the subs off and the sides kept it in aspect ratio and hey presto =vigilante rls........ the sound sux on BOTH.
Same source the first by teg is better then just crop it yourself using TMPEGenc.

i personaly think some of you are gunning vig a little too much
i think that this is a very good rls and is a better chioce than the prev rls of goldmember
i think the nukers were wrong saying that vig d/l teg's version and just cropped it and put there name on it
the rls are very different the only thing the same is the audio problems
they probably just got it from the same silver and used two different methods of encoding
vigilante dont let this nuke discourage you guys it happens
and every group (even ftf) has the right to rls
you guys have gotten way too stuck up

Edit: ps. for all those that seem to be confusing 'same source' with 'recode' in their posts. Recode means another groups release was downloaded and re encoded using filters to make it look better. Taking from the same source and using the same filters is not concidered a recode. That would be concidered a proper

Well I understrand why and im not suprised but it survived on a few sites...but ya, the quality is a bit better than the TEG...I can't really tell if it's just a re-encode or not...Just watched the samples...dont look like one that obviously but whatever. Checked both samples and I prefer the ViG one...it's like a little clearer fixed up version of TEG's. Downloading right now...

A couple of nukes and a dupe, their releases wont be so easily dumped in the future.

It sucks yes, when someone who releases re-encodes just to gain the fruits of someone elses labor, really sad.

But I am amazed at uTi at the moment, their releases are of better quality than their early days. Shame FTF dont follow suit lol

I can careless who or where this came from I just want a better copy and so far ViGiLANTE has provided it.

Damn that was a lame ass clipping job anyways... i mean if you are gonna loose part of the picture then fuck that... download teg's release open up TMPGEnc... go to setting.. then check clip frame and double click it and put 60 for bottom and 60 for top and be sure to check Top Mask and Bottom Mask... reencode that bad boy and you get rid of the subs OFF the screen but there is still the watermark and occasionaly some subs from the bigger dialouges that were in the picture... but hey it dosent cut off any of the picture.. its small enough!

ok its really simple to see that this is definitely teg's released not ONLY cropped, but it was stretched... if you compare both movies at the intro side by side you can first see that there is a huge section of the screen at the bottom that is missing, but it is hidden by the fact that picture is strecthed, second the clarity of the colors can be fixed by running through some color correction settings in your favorite media encoder, and even if the pops were supposedly fixed that can easily be done in just about ANY quality sound editing program.
