-- The Jacket *SVCD * - TELESYNC - SAOSIN (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=56282)
Finally got round to watch the whole release on my standalone.
No Problems at all, beautiful TS., very good movie.

Audio does skip both cd1 and cd2 if you watch it with VLC Player. I have no idea why.
However there are no problems on a standalone.
thx for the great rls

bring back Quality TS
Ok confirmed the bad packets on cd1. This alone will not hinder watching on PC or burning to disc.
However for those of us who convert pal2ntsc is where the problems lies.
The bad packets on cd1 will cause it to lockup after conversion.
It should be nuked not for sync issues but bad packets.
This release is not a clean release

Just watched this and the quality of picture and sound are perfect. Looks like Saosin is the new VideoCD and Centropy. Well done!!!! Quality!!
Very good qual....nice video, audio, etc..
8/8
Great work you guys, I appreciate it.
This is one of the best release's in years. It's hard to believe it is only a TS, it looks that good. Nothing else to say, but this group should be #1 in rankings. I don't care what anyone else thinks, this group is putting out the stuff and it's good. Not dark or grainy with good sound.

after the near perfect constantine, i was hoping for great things, and i wasnt let down!!!
nice work saosin, you guys have your sh*t on lock down.
audio 9.0
video 9.0
movie 8.0
interesting enough movie to make the dl more than worth the bw. again, props to saosin on a wonderful release.
If only it was a bit brighter!!!!!!
Sound is spot on so is the angle and overall copy , but just that bit brighter lads and you would be up there with maven and centropy
Im sure give it a bitof time and you will have cracked it!!
as for film , strange and good if you like butterfly effect and other films simular , then you will like this one
for telecync

FYI, for those that would like to pal2ntsc procoder will do the trick.
I use TMPGEnc Plus for all my pal2ntsc, avi2mpg, and shrinking 2cds to 1 via kvcd templates and then I run it through VCDeasy to create a dvd-like interactive image file.
However as in this case the ones that fail compliancy you can use Canopus Procoder.
Otherwise this release is very viewable compared to most recent releases.
I give it an 8 across the board.
Nice release. Played fine on MCE 2005. I've never had any problems playing PAL VCD/SVCD on my dvd players or through the media center PC (what I primarily use now)
However the movie itself was disappointing...

Without spoiling anything, I'd have to say that the big letdown was too much of what happened was never properly explained. You're left just having to accept that certain things happened but you never know exactly why.
Hi all, i'm new here. Have been reading this site for ages and using it as a guide for what and not what to download. Finally signed up and decided to have my say ! Most peoples reviews here are spot on with this with this one. Video is clear, little dark in places but watchable throughout, audio is fine all the way through, movie was .... well ... average. And worked fine on a standalone, no sync issues.

Good release, watched on my 65" hdtv and the vidoe was great, audio was good as well, to bad the movie itself sucks. good job guys keep it up.
Plays perfectly on XBMC
Controversy and nuking because of a few bad packets that take the wind out of people's sails trying to use weird standalone mpeg playback devices and out of date software players.
Why on earth anyone is still using a standalone DVD player is utterly beyond me.
A Modded Xbox with hookup to your LAN or crossover cable straight to your PC if you don't have a LAN is so much better than anything else you can play downloaded movies with, and with a softmod it's a very cheap solution. Only those crappy Hong Kong DVD/VCD players are cheaper and a lot worse quality.
Come on people. If you download more than 1 movie a month, get yourself a networked modded Xbox plugged into your TV. You'll get XBMC, the world's best media player (in my opinion) which plays just about anything you care to throw at it beautifully, and allows you to scale the picture to exactly fit your screen. Because you can stream any video format direct from your downloads folder, there's no more burning, converting or swapping discs etc... It's what your TV was made for
Best of all, as long as you don't buy any games for it then daddy gates pays you $100 out of his own pocket to own one

no skipping on on audio 4 me

I've just finished watching the entire thing and wont really dwell on the quality because this release because it's been out ages. I'll just say this much - it's pretty gorgeous! Some scenes are slightly bright (although that's just me being a dick) but overall it's as good as TS's get.
The movie is excellent as well!
