but like i said verrry good release.

9/8/5

movie was alrite, followed the original very closely, maybe too closely. Watchable but not great horror film.

This is probably the most accurate acoount of the release. Good job Saosin.

For some odd reason I can't seem to get this to play, the sample works just fine but when I try and play either cd1 or cd2 it doesn't work.

I've been trying to use divx player on it but it's not working as well any suggestions on what I should do?

Posted by Lender on 04-18-2005 05:28 AM:

Well I finally got this to work, but very awesome release, compared to most it's definitely one of the best keep up the good work!

On certain parts though it is a bit fuzzy and dark, but still the audio is great and so is the overall quality.

Try PowerDVD , WinDVD , VLC media player

All 3 should work , make sure you have a mpeg2 (SVCD) codec installed also.

Posted by randy54 on 04-18-2005 10:42 AM:

this is a top notch release by a top notch group, keep doing your thing saosin

Posted by fluffinator on 04-18-2005 12:55 PM:

divx player is not going to play a bin of a vcd or svcd, no matter how bad you want it to.

Either burn the disks off and watch on a stand alone, or use vcdgear, pul lthe mpegs off and watch with media player.

Personally, i use VLC player (video lan player) no codecs requried and you can drag and drop bins right into it.

That or mount with daemon tools and watch with powerDVD or WinDVD.

props on an almost perfect TS.

v=9 (slight blurr, barely noticable tilt/crop)
a=8 mono but still perfect and in sync
m=7 fairly good movie, not at all scarey, but it follows the original story(the one thats true) fairly close. Good saturday night date movie

p.s. no sound problems on mine at all, and the crop and angle only comes into play with text on screen, like the dates are a little cutoff.

you don't miss a thing.

Movie was good, nice pic, nice sound

And for any of you who actually care, the location in the movie is total BS.. In the movie the house was in the country, and on a huge lake, and IRL, the house is on a Canal, a tiny one at that, and in a residential area, even in the 70's.

And if I recall, the boat house in the movie is to the left, but it's actually on the right irl.

Normal SAOSIN quality , bogs bollocks as usual,

Sound slightly buzzy , only slightly , picture excellent dark scenes there is absolutly no problems , as for the cropping just missing about 1/2 inch to the left ie/ December reads 'ember'

overall good shit , keep em coming

8/8/7

Another excellent release from d one nd only SAOSIN!

Wat more do you want from a TS! Great video nd sound. Slight cropping nd tilt as mentioned earlier, but only noticed when text appears on d screen which isnt often.

9/8/8( fuckin freaky flick )

Posted by scousethief on 04-20-2005 11:00 AM:

excellent ts excellent movie 9s all the way

9.9.9

not often these days when a horror film actually turns out to be good , this one is. In my opinion its actually better than the original but i did think the original was just an average ghost movie
