You do know that's exactly how the original story went right?

::EDIT:: Unfortunately, I don't think they do. I weep for the future - NS::

For what it's worth, you can't get much better than this.

Sweet!

Thank You for the great release!

Pretty good stuff , i was gonna hold out for a dvdscr but with all the kicks in the nuts lately with the groups, i figured one wasnt gonna come anytime soon. video was nice on the phillips dvp642 xvid player , i had to turn the sound up a bit more than normal but it was great when i had it up , no hissing or anything so get this release it is the best so far. 8/8/9 I liked the movie alot. didnt know if anyone noticed the lil dot markers on certain frames or not, i counted about 4 or 5 which as you well know is used for tracking certian releases hopefully they figure out a way to blur those lil spots up before someone gets wise

BTW props to you groups out there still bringing the releases to us and total respect from those of us that watch them :P

I may be the only one here but:......................

The Pic is very good, but i think this is a very very good TS and not a TC, at the beginning the Dreamworks title looks like its on an angle and just after that i could see the bottom on the cinema screen just above the black bar..anyone else think?

Video 9 for TS
Audio 8-Bit low but clear
Movie 9-Good effects, entertaining movie

This Release IS Fantastic ... Kudo's to the un-named grp to release it .... But this film isn't that good at all ....

V: 9.0
A: 9.0
M: 5.0 ( I would expect more of a story from Spielburg )

Posted by mattmatt02 on 07-08-2005 07:36 PM:

imo, the xvid had a 'slightly' better pic and would be easier to convert to dvd than the svcd (for me).

nonetheless, my ratings are same as the xvid

10/9.5/going to go an see on sunday

Public dupesites are A DISGRACE to the scene, NFO files and samples should be kept private within the scene, not for any P2P user out there, wich is obviously what this place is 90% composed of. SHAME ON YOU

By the way, ban my ass, this is my last post here anyways

public dupesites would be useless if the stuff didn't get leaked.

Blame group/site security first, then the public.

I'd rather your average guy in the street was downloading good quality stuff, if anything at all.

It's natural for people to want stuff they see is available. for every million people who download, one might have something to give back. If it was all closed doors, that one person would have a WAY smaller chance of finding a way to contribute.

As it is, there's a lot of individuals releasing good quality stuff via p2p, but the security risks there are obvious.

But yeah, we're offtopic. :P

After watching the entire movie last night, I found one spot where the audio went out of sync. Just want to find out if anyone else noticed it.

It was for about 2-3 minutes on the 3rd disk, when they are in the basement.

SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE:

.
.
.
.
.
.
.

Remember when Ray sees the Tripods sucking the blood out of the dude outside the house? When Harlan (Robins) starts screaming for him Ray runs up to him and says, "Be quiet" from that point on for about 2-3 minutes the audio is out of sync.

It could have just been my disk, just checking if anyone else noticed. It doesn't ruin the experience at all though.
