watched this on the TV screen last night (16;9 - AR was fine
in full mode).

movie was pretty good, some very funny lines - especially from
the car jackers.

video was great, one of the better svcd screeners I've seen
of late.

audio was perfect.

I couldnt agree more. I watched the VCD DVDSCR and it was fine to me. As for this version, I'm so glad to see that it is complete all the way to the last credit. Much Cleaner and Clearer Pic than the VCD version and NOT missing anything. Sound was just fine as well. Long overdue Screener of an Excellent Film. PROPS go out to FICO for both the top notch SVCD and DVDR of this Fantastic Film...

Heh, excellent screwed up release. Unintentional anamorphic video and 48khz audio should be enough to get it nuked, but as it happened I was out of CD-R's, so it saved me the hassle of having to resample the audio, and the whole movie went straight on a DVD-R instead, and as it happens, I wish leaving the video anamorphic rather than 4:3 LBX'ed would be scene standard.

Anyway, great video, great audio, magnificent movie.

Video: 10 for being anamorphic
Audio: 10 for being 48khz
Movie: 10 for being probably the best movie of the year.

My Two Cents...

Short and simple

Audio - 10 - not a single problem with the audio and was definately great

Video - 9 - Didn't see anything wrong with AR but it did seem just the slightest hint *too* compressed?? But, overall, still very good

Movie - 4 - What a disappointment THIS thing was. If you watch this and this is all you base the US on everyone's a flippin' racist. Plot twists were easily figured out in some stories and ridiculous in others and if you're gonna do a "different lives that cross paths" kind of movie, make it coherent ala Pulp Fiction. Otherwise, you're gonna confuse the watcher and it's gonna be a bad movie in general. This movie is a prime example of this.
