LMFAO..Since when did VideoCD ever Ask.or.Get.Permission. As for the release, Video is stolen source spanish. I prefer the Vid of this one.. i give it a dark cropped 7, but better than iND release, and out of sync audio issues and too bassy drop the sound to about a 5, and the movie just plain blows.

7/5/4

Props on all the releases. Through good and bad VideoCD u were a true warrior and contributer..Many thanx, but why pic this release to go out on.

Video and sound - 7

VideoCD you've been one of a handfull of groups that you could always count on for a high quality release. It's impressive to see how many movies you put out there for us. Thanks for all the hard work.

Posted by rockinrory on 07-18-2005 03:37 AM:

I almost never comment on this forum, but I would like to say thanks to VideoCD. They have given us so many AWESOME releases over the past couple of years. It is sad to see a good group go. So thank you VideoCD!

I guess one thing said... you will not have to monitor too much of the "I will wait for the VideoCD/CTP release" as VideoCD is gone and Centropy seems to only want to do lame kids movies now.

BOTH are great groups and deserve much respect!

ohh on this release I give it a

7/7/ ? (I have only skimmed it)

Posted by dontgiveafuck on 07-18-2005 03:53 AM:

this release is fucked, but at least it's watchable, and nothing critical gets left out

there is one part in the movie where the audio changes to cam audio. this is also where a couple minutes get cut out.

no biggie.

movie sucks so far anyway. The hairdo they gave jessica is ugly too! heheh

please god, no more comic book movies. please.

all the original ideas from hollywood went down the shitter.

Posted by nullvoiid on 07-18-2005 04:05 AM:

video =7 some croping but not enough to spoil
audio =6 some sync problem but nothing terrible
movie =x

imho this is not a ts, im sure i could here audience laughter in the planetarium scene..

a great group with a lot of quality releases
so im sorry but not suprised to see them go..

its sad to see VideoCD go...they had some great releases over the years..you'll be missed...

Posted by Kraq Le Pop on 07-18-2005 04:57 AM:

There is a delay with audio, slightly out of synch but not a big deal. Picture is very good - cropped, but little blur or pixelation.
Movie is big, dumb fun. Really enjoyed it.

8/6/9

Thanks VCD, we'll miss your snarky attitude...

Posted by brave1200 on 07-18-2005 05:50 AM:

This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing it right:

V:5
S:6 (out of sync in some parts)
M:8

I had my suspicions that there would be missing scenes, and I was right.... otherwise, I'd give the video a 9.

Sound is not as good as VideoCD's usual superior quality.

Overall, not a bad release.

Despite what some say, I thought the movie was very entertaining, but it's definitely worth seeing on the big screen.

BTW, is this post too long?

From the Sample...

7/7/x

I hate to see VideoCD go, they did some of the best releases, and will truly be missed.

as others have mentioned, missing bits and audio glitches on CD1. In addition, there is a decent sized gap between CD2 endng and CD3 starting - not sure how much since i havent seen the real film but the context changes by a decent amount.

There is no decent size gap between cd2 and cd3. There's about a .5 of a second gap if any between the scenes because the scene goes to a cut scene when cd2 finishes and starts off at the new scene after the cut when cd3 starts. Watch the cam release and you'll see for yourself

This release is not bad, couple of missing scenes on cd1 and sync issue but it's nothing major.

6/6/8

Movie is good, saw this in the theater with the kids and they loved it as well.
It was nothing like the Hulk which put us all to sleep in the theater

95 minutes on 3 cds? blah...

Posted by Kell on 07-18-2005 08:46 AM:

Sorry to see you go VideoCD...most of the releases I have converted to DVD were yours

8/8/7

If you gotta go nice swansong !!

Posted by BLUE-NEO on 07-18-2005 09:20 AM:

ok I truly had to change my vote after watching full film...audio jumps a few times and has a irritating popping noice all through out film. Video adjust in the first 2 mins, then later on again during the film it jumps alot. The colors are decent yet really dark...Cam is zoom in alot and cuts off a hell of alot of the film, especially the end of the movie during the last scene, the main parts of one character is completely none viewable. Also during the first25 mins the film is clipped and missing parts..or different scenes..

After the batman begins release and now this...seems that no one will get a good release of either.

thanks for the release videocd sorry your gone and sorry you went out with two mediocre releases...I'm use to you guys being so much better...

6/6/8 movie was not bad and not really extremely good.

P.S. Unlike most of Videocd releases this one is suffering from the TWAT factor..and its very noticeable..

Fair enough, I grabbed the CAM and you're right, nothing missing. I edited my post. I guess I don't understand what a large metallic mask is suddenly doing in a glass case on the street but hey, thats how the movie goes.

Posted by aweaware2 on 07-18-2005 03:43 PM:

I just can't even get through this. The picture looks good, when it's not glitching every 7 seconds. It's annoying, sometimes it seems like the sound is in synch and others it doesn't.

5/2/?? Avoid if you like your movies in synch with no missing scenes and not glitching every few seconds.

Posted by ricey on 07-18-2005 04:07 PM:

good movie i think, watched it last night not all that bad.
small few sync probs nothing bad
small bit of cropping but nothing major.
all in all a good rls grab it.

video - 7
audio - 6
movie - 6

Video 7

Audio 7

Movie 7

Video is very good, but couple times you do see sum1 walk across, and it seems it is cropped quite a bit. But picture quality is very clear.

Audio, does get a bit out of sync a few times, but its actually not too bad.

Movie is good, it's hard to have any strong attachments to any of the characters in a movie this length with 4 equal main stars.
