Well, wanted to see if this movie lived up to the hype. NOT!!!! Gene wilder IS Willy Wonka!! This is one that should not have been remade. This release is good but lacking. I basically am ebert and roper all rolled up into one.... so the fact that it isn't that hot a movie will not impair me from trying to find a better release prior to actual DVD release date. Nevertheless, good effort BaPH.

crappy picture and crappy audio-sounds muffled throughout and disk 2 goes out of sinc.don't waste your time on this one.oh, to rate the movie-it sucks big time too

first minute or so of the movie is cut off (making of the bars inside the factory). heavily cropped, but good audio/colors
