You've verified this? Its not from the PAL conversion? You saw it in theatre? What scenes are missing?

I am aware that a few seconds of audio are missing (well, it went dead on my one for a bit). The movie (accroding to IMDb) is 187 minutes long, or 3 hours 7 minutes, the STiNKER version is 2 hours 48 minutes, so it is 19 minutes short. Very long credits, but untill some proof is provided scenes are missing I will just assume it is because so many people worked on the film it took a long time to list in the credits.

Anyway...

Video:

6 (but it sharpens wonderfully, I re-encoded to DVD using the AVISynth "sharpen(1.00)" command. Came out very well indeed, with sharpening would be about 8 - STiNKER/FUCK should have sharpened their source before encoding IMO) AR is also a little off, but again was corrected in DVD conversion.

Audio:

6 OK when its their, as said a few bits it drops, and crackles occasionaly, perfectly ok to listen to however.

Movie:
8 - Loved it

Not sure about if there is/isn't missing footage, but based on whats here...

v - 7
A - 9
M - ?

Looks like it could have been a bit sweeter if they'd just gone for a 2cd xvid, not 1...

scenes are not really missing, they are just fast forwarded in a sense.

I saw the movie in the theater and this xvid version is missing the entire scene with naomi watts escaping from kong after entertaing him with her juggling etc.... not important to the story but still one of the funnier scenes in the movie...
