Quality is really good for this movie. But here is something I noticed. I burned this for my mom onto a cdr and she was playing it in her new philips player. When watching we would see moments of fast movement then a little slow down. If that makes sense. Anyone else get this?

Video - 8.8 (Cleaned it up with Adobe Premiere Elements then converted it to DVD format and watched it on my DVD player)

Audio - 8.0 - Static bursts occured about 3 times in the last 10 minutes of the movie, but other than that, no problems. Also, I noticed NO sync issues.

Movie - 7 - I seemed to like this movie more than most on here. I actually got a good laugh out of it, especially the "bed" scenes. I didn't take the movie as seriously as many of you seem to have. I knew it was basically slapsitck / super hero comedy (and how can you be critical of such a silly concept?), so I knew what I was going to be expecting.

exactly how do u clean it up..?

i always wonder if there is a tutorial that teaches you how to use FFDshow filters that make normal TS's better looking, say to normal DVD colors..?

ill sum it up funny movie NO sync issues so people who do have sync issues have 1 of 2 things shitty dvdrs or a shitty pc or dvd player simple as that overall great quality pretty dumb movie but i liked it

Video : 8 Nice Clean Release

Audio : 7 Seemed Fine to me

Movie : 7 Movie Is ok considering its Superhero style it has but overall pretty funny

having seen the movie i gave the picture a injustice.
v 8.5 ( heads pop up now & then)
a 9 ( some probs towards the end otherwise superb)
m 7.5 ( not a bad movie. just dont take it to seriously> the beers helped)

Any TS (and even TC's) can be made to look quite a bit better than the original footage. Run them through filters, such as contrast, hue, sharpening, bright, dark, gamma correction...........It's not an exact science and it takes a lot of pratice, as each release needs a different level of adjustment, but I can usually get each release to look anywhere from 3% to 20% better looking than the original footage, then again, once in a while a release comes out that's so pristine that NOTHING needs to be done to it.

Good video, can't get too much better. Audio isn't great, but it's not bad either.

8/6/6 The movie was somewhat entertaining but not really. I could sit through it, but it's not something I'd watch twice.

That seems to happen sometimes on my Phillips 642 also. It's just one of those thigs we put up with using a standalone.

A good version of the movie. Unlike SA - its all there.
Good sound.
Fun movie, a bit overacted (especially Eddie Izzard) but that was expected, Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters, Junior, Evolution, etc.) doesn't do very serious.

Decent flick & this movies version of how a super hero does their thing (both in & out of uniform) was a nice twist.

Finally got around to watching this on a standalone, Great overall quality!

Video / 9

Audio / 8 no sync issues but as stated before a couple of static bursts in last 10-15 minutes, nothing to worry about though

Movie / for what it was ment to be i would give it a 6. It was stupid, light-hearted, slapstick comedy. Worth a watch and mid-as-well watch this one becuase its better than most TC's Great release maVen
