I've just had a look @the first cd its light and for some reason its called Diablo and not el diablo and there are 3 diffrent transparent marks 1 of them im sure is a running clock..

What some people dont realise is the jpeg uploaders dont have axx to every pre site hense they dont get every 0 sec film samples first.. but as a rule this is a good site and i noticed that iso**** dont report that much on the film side anymore and this is the site to come to for movie releases
so give the guys a break

The reason for that is that the title is not for sure yet, originally it was called Diablo, then El Diablo, and now they are changing the name again, so for the WP it simply says Diablo.

ok. Some of them may have looked at the sample, because yes I know it is released before VCDQuality hsa em, seeing as though I've seen Ops request the NFO and Sample to put on the main page. BUt when I see 1/1/1 and a 10/10/10, It doesn't seem to me that someone viewed the whole movie, to see how good the movie was. I don't think VCDQuality is THAT slow to have someone able to download the whole movie and watch it before they post it though...

Posted by AngelDeath on 08-27-2002 06:58 PM:

Just watched the Sample, its watchable, a little blocky at times near the top, sound is not bad, but the video is a bit washed out, but still overall nice rls for a pre. great rls.

looks like another unfilitered silver bin/cue. fair nuff i guess, but personally i would've done some simple colour correction / gamma fixes etc on it myself.

el diablo

This release is watchable, but like everyone else, of course I would like to see a better one. Im not complaining at all, because for a pre-release of a movie that no one has even heard of, it's the bomb!

Also, Ive been checking this site out for a while, but this is the first time that I posted. It always amazes me how many people complain about some of these releases. If you guys can do a better job, why not do it instead of talking shit about the next guys work?

but like I said, I am new to this stuff, so maybe Im the one whos tripping....(not)

props to VCDQUALITY for keeping us up on all the new shit!
One love in Cali!

just got the time to check out this flick. the quality of this workprint is very watchable. the pic is a little grainy but nothing really bad, and the audio is ok. I did notice during cd2 a couple minor glitches but nothing that took away from watching it. As for the movie, it was actually pretty good I thought. thanks for the pre release, video cd.

remember all, stating an opinion doesmt mean your complaining!
dont be scared tovoice your opinion, this sites not just for ass kissing jokes!!

im not complaining when i say this quality sux!!

im just viewing from my 20/20 vision!!

How come xXx screener and el diablo have the same rating, i think xXx screener has a good rating but this should have a lowere rating (just a little) cause it is not video quality, the audio is the same though but videoCD rules 4 getting this super pre-release b4 anyone and those lamers the a-team suck for trying to steal videoCDs copy of el diablo.

Because it's being graded on it's quality as a Workprint, not as a Screener, each type of release is rated upon it's quality for that type of release, not 10's for svcd and 3's for ts..you rate the level of each type of rls from ts to svcd...

I re-encoded this rls with the following settings, which, IMO, looks hella better than the original:
Go into TMPGEnc
Click on Settings
Go To Advanced
Click on Simple Color Correction
Adjust the following:
Brightness: -34
Contrast: 3
Gamma: 31
Red: 88
Blue: 58

All of these make for a more watchable release

P.S.: I also used clip frame to cut off those goddamn blurred serials at the top ( ifound them annoying as hell)

There's a reason it's called a workprint and out 6 months prior to theater release dude. Respect the fact that you never would have been able to see it for months if not for that rls.

Quite watchable for being out so early. Props to VideoCD for their efforts. Some of us do, in fact, appreciate the effort put into this stuff. I'd rate this one a 7/6/8.
