I got that but in the NFO it's tagged Borat.R5.LINE.PROPER.DVDR-DREAMLiGHT. WTF? Either way, this is FINALLY the Borat release we've been waiting for. Video is fantastic and audio is damn good too (from the sample anyway). I just finished converting this to ISO so I can watch it on my TV. Sexy time!!!!!1

alot of noobs dont understand dreamlight and pukka = THE SAME FUCKING GROUP JUST DIFFERENT NAMES FOR XVIDS AND DVDR

Maybe it's just me but the sound is way worse on the PUKKA release. Just listen to the first 10-15 seconds (during the 20th Century Fox logo)...you can distinctly hear it go to cam audio at around 9 seconds.

kelnar,

you were a "noob" at one point as well.

Anyways,

for this 9/6/10

Pukkas is better than this

Posted by rahzel on 12-09-2006 12:58 AM:

the PUKKA's audio does sound more like cam audio, but i'd take more consistent, inferior quality, over inconsistent volume.

if you guys have both, they are both exactly the same length, so PUKKA's audio will work directly with the ASTEROiDS release. you can extract the audio from virtualdub, and mux it back with the ASTEROiDS video.

I noticed that as well. Aslo Pukka's was nuked for last few minutes of movie being unwatchable

EDIT: I take back what I said about Pukka's release being better than ASTEROiDS after seing the horrible audio and the blocky picture near the end of the movie. This is unlike you Pukka

i disagree. i think overall, the PUKKA audio is better. again, i used the PUKKA audio with the ASTEROiDS video and converted it to DVD. looks great and sounds decent.

Well I downloaded the wrong version (this, i meant to get pukka rls) and I dont know what you guys are talking about, knowing you guys and your low standards.. this seems pretty good and the audio is not near as bad as some have described.. slight variances but not bad

Dunno why some people our moaning about the audio. Our you sure you got the repack? I got it yesterday - burnt to dvd and watched it all the way through. It was fine. There is getting too many fussy people on this site.

Posted by OSH on 12-09-2006 11:26 AM:

I'm pretty sure that I got the repack and it still sucked? Unless I somehow accidentally downloaded the original release...shit IDK! Has it been confirmed that the repack sucks too? Screw it.

the sound is definately iffy here on the repack. I just watched it and when the volume behave its great, but it fdoes drop away and make certain parts impossible to hear without turning it up. Shame , otherwise excellent release

That's great. To disagree with urself. Real schizo. I like it.
And ofcourse, everything just looks better if u encode it to DVD.

Pukka's better, this is worse. Same vid, obviously same Russ source.
Asteroids does not have good audio-sources. Fact.
Stole audio before (CoM TC), again this is shit. Excuse le mot.

For real chenqui: Get Dreamlight rls.

Posted by kelnar on 12-11-2006 05:44 AM:

if your audio is fine, it cannot be this version seriously you downloaded something else. the audio on this is so crap you cant hear half of the movie, why would we make up a lie? why would pukka keep releasing multiple propers cause even theirs still isnt the best but its better than this shit.

Downloaded movie, thought the picture was excellent, was really let down by the audio.... real dissapointed.
