Does anyone else sense something a little fishy about this release? The email address is not the same as the one in previous releases, and the note seems a little... umm... well you know... I have a feeling this isn't really maVen. Same as I did with those VideoCD releases awhile back.

After figuring out how to do the audio fix....

A: 4 (with no fix)
A: 10 ( with fix) - MUCH MORE BASS, and both left and right channels are even now, its great except some reason it doubled the final file size from 700 to 1400..... and I dont know why

actually at 14:59. not sure why this was nuked to begin with. if anything call it mislabeled ts with the very little cam audio at end. but the audio, even the cam, is a different source, so not a dupe. watermark at end is insignificant, and even in the movie it is no more than 2 frames long

Fix worked great. Definately needed. Without fix - it is barely watcheable. Thanks for the fix instructions. File size was 1.4GB in size. But, who cares when watching on xbox with a 250gb HD.
Movie was good overall. Better than reviews. Not as good as 1 or 2, but def funny parts.

Video is excellent, rarely have I seen better cam video.

Sound is phenomenal, no hissing, static or anything else. The cam audio with laughter at the end is way at the end of the movie and not worth bitching about. After all, who the hell is going to save this release forever even after the DVD rips are out?

I hope maVen sticks around.

just noticed, this release is missing at least one scene. when arthur is talking to merlin. right when he starts crying the scene cuts out and is missing about 38 seconds (54:28). pretty obvious

Just because its a different source doesnt mean no one already did it. As it says on the FAQ here, if it already exists there is no need for it again. And if a group thinks its better than the others it needs a proper tag otherwise its bad... Also there are watermarks throughout this release, which gets annoying to say the least.

Lastly, i don't see what the big fuss is on this, the dark scenes are still horridly dark and you cant see anything. If it was any other group they would be getting bashed over this release.

this is often the case when no-name groups release. the group "propering" sometimes doesn't label it as such b/c no one really acknowledges the other group to begin with. such is the case here. it was called "dupe: CAMERA" and nuked, which his wrong since CAMERA release was already nuked for out of sync. only other XVID TS release was by HortonQuality. when you see that you say "who" and when you watch it you say "wtf?"

so yeah maybe it technically should have read "proper" or "really really real proper". anyway, the rls is nice, and the watermarks In the film are literally two frames long so if that annoys you gimme your zip code and i will recommend a movie theatre

In the current climate this is a good release. Superb pic - good in light and dark scenes. Sound is ok after being doctored. Edit the bit missing with the wizard and it still makes sense to the run of the film. Slap the camera release audio over the silly laughter at the end and you have a great release. I don't know if the end audio was deliberate or what but to me it sounds like that laughter is 'put on'. If this truly is maven great to see you back boys. Its been a really shit couple of months on the scene. Cheers.
