ZU: WARRIORS FROM THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN is from 1983 and is the original.

THE LEGEND OF ZU is from 2001 and is the second movie.

DVD is available from overseas. Disney bought the rights to this film and lots of other Asian films. They changed the title a bit and possible dubbing it. So its the same with a few edits and under the Disney monkier. The Asian release is much better if you can find it.

Personally, nobody gives a sh*t about what you can get, or what you have. We are just tired of your consistent yelling of "it's nuked", or "it's a new group, they are nuked".

I think you need to learn the history of some groups. A lot of release groups have thier stuff nuked (even the better ones). If you keep screaming nuke, you just look like a 2 year old, crying for mommy.

This looks really good...im gonna try to get the sample and let you guys know how that is even though must of you probably already have it with your "l33t connections" to people who get this stuff as soon as it comes out :P also I really want to see Zhang Ziyi in it...shes like the cutest girl in the world XD by the way are any of you even gonna talk about the quality or even the movie besides the point that it clearly states its a remake from the 1987 movie in the profile? o_O

once again you people may have got it all wrong. First lemme say i didnt dl it since its impossible now anyways. But ill clue you clueless people in. First Zu Warriors came out in 1983 ( http://us.imdb.com/Title?0086308 ). Then in 2001 Tsui Hark decided to do a sequel called the Legend of Zu ( http://us.imdb.com/Title?0286098 ). Miramax bought the rights for this movie and will be releasing it in a few months.

Now I agree this rls should be nuked because it is most likley the miramax cut which means that it will have about 30 minutes chopped off. The movie is really cool and should be watched in its entirety.

The way to tell which version it is is to see if its dubbed or subbed. If its dubbed then the are offering a pre-rls of a great movie.

But no matter what it is it outta be nuked just cause the groups own nfo is wrong. "A Reproduction Of a 1987 Film... ". Although i am all for bringin some cool asian flicks to the masses.

quality on this was very bad , not sure if its a workprint or not but i doubt it , im assuming this newbie group saw that this movie was being remade and dusted off there old vhs they had in there closet and ripped it and called it a wp just so they can get there name out there, so far i havent been to impressed with this group except for the fact that they do get there stuff spread to some good sites. but to those wanting to know if they should grab this ... dont , not worth the bw

i don't understand why ppl r gripping over a movie that just plan ass suck...i d.l it last yr and i d/l it recently and both off them suck in pic and sound..this is one movie ill wait to rent at a vedio store...

Zu Warriors workprint

You guys are all abunch of fucking morons give A-Team a little credit i mean shit every big movie page out their says this is coming to theators in february to the us. There has not ever been done a workprint of this movie so why not release it even if their is a svcd of the older movie this is still remake whitch means its better . On the position of workprints i think any workprints no matter how old they are should be released if they are good quality becuase workprints carry scenes that will be deleted or edited in the final versions of the movie to make certain ratings from the mpaa.

why give A-Team any credit....when all they did was recoded something that was release last yr..The group comes out with nothing but crap..and u asked us to be more greatful for there effort..maybe they should put more effort into there work...other then that i have nothing more to say

Ok. this is a rough one.

Im not gunna flame. just point out the facts

Video : passable. but not the best 5/10
Audio: really bad. gets very out of sync 15 mins into first cd 2/10
Movie:?

Subtitled. Can hardly see the subs.

Seemed ok as a movie. The Audio being out of sync was weird. but the subtitles were grainy and hard to read as well, and the people talking WAY outta sync makes it more complicated to follow
I straight burned this with nero from the bin/cues so i think theres no fault of my own.


I guess ill wait for the english version translation coming soon, its being rereleased and called Zu Warriors (as the title of the release seems to state.

This is deffinitley not a workprint of the american ver!! The opening says the legend of zu. What a bunch of morons a-team is. They didnt even notice it says Legend of Zu at the beggining. Its a workprint of the original movie released over seas. Anyways horriblly subed(you need binoculars), video was alright, sound was horrible (out of sync it seemed), and its a workprint for the original release which there is a dvdrip of. That about rounds things up, horrible release by a group severly lacking in the intelligence department, with obviously no idea! I say this not trying to be a dick but just giving my 2 cents on things.

Lame release yes. It has been said before but I will say it again.

This is I suppose The Legend of Zu (Ekin Cheng, Cecilia Cheung and more) in the "american" version. It's a remake yes of the movie Zu Warriros (Yuen Biao, Brigitte Lin, Adam Cheng).

The Legend of Zu has yes, been out a while with the original language and subtitles with it. Zu Warriors also. I have seen them both and both are good.
