Since this is a workprint, is it missing any scenes or effects or anything?

To those questioning my eyesight, I would like to revise my opinion and raise my initial score for video from 3 to 5.

This looks like a re-encode of a VCD to me. It's blocky and blurry particularly in long shots, not so much in close-ups but then you can see the result of the low quality encode in the backgrounds.

Flicked through it using MPC, VLC and WMP, after reading the other comments here I uninstalled k-lite and installed cccp, no difference. Tried using ffdshow, xvid and divx in turn and various levels of post-processing. Not a great improvement with any of them.

Converted to dvd (as if that's ever going to improve quality...) and looks slightly worse. Maybe I'm fussy, but I don't believe this came straight from a dvd workprint. VCD, yes. It looks exactly like a rip of a mediocre VCD encode.

I'm not desperate enough to watch this all the way through, personally, but if you have low standards then I guess you won't mind it. Comparing it to something like the Halloween workprint though, there is no possible comparison in quality. It looks like a piece of crap beside that, hence my low score rating it as a wp.

A three for video was a bit harsh, but I think someone should have got the original leaked source and ripped that instead of this crappy re-encode.

V - 5
A - 7
M - ? (waiting for the R5)

5/8/4

Video: 5 - blocky as hell, artifact heaven and big lettering all over the picture.

Audio: 8 - can't say anything bad about it. Sounded good.

Movie: 4 - this is it? That was Rambo IV? A bit on the short side, isn't it? Lot's of violence... but nothing happened. Credits seemed to be longer than the movie.
