Get real. Pay props to the nice people who push out some kick-ass releases. Some people are so negative and never ever let some people get the respect that they deserve.

To the chosen few: Kick-ass job, guys. Cheers.

Agreed

Thumbs up

great job TCF, one of the best dvdrips this year and to have it 3 months before it's released retail is a pleaser, keep em coming

1. stop whining people. jeez.
2. i watched the sample, it does kinda look weird. the interlacing is noticeable and kinda yuky looking. but its not THAT BIG OF A DEAL.
3. sound seemed fine

All in all, stop fucking whining. take what you get and stop bitching about the nfo saying its a retail. get a life for petes sake.

the picture quality isnt a 10, but it isnt that bad. i guess for an svcd, its a 6.

6/8/?

who the hell cares exactly what it is. i think its great quality. and i'm not into picking it apart for all the "ghosts" and crap, that you guys are talking about. i don't even know what that is. and i could care less to be honest. its the best release out so far, and it should be left at that. that said, i do think that you guys should tell people about the problems w/ any release. but reading all the posts in the thread, reporting stuff has gone to pure bitching and whining. i do know what you guys are saying about his glasses for example, and i noticed it before i came here and read about it. but it doesn't bother me.

Posted by Figaro on 10-13-2002 01:33 PM:

I care what the hell it is. I collect these damn things to watch. Releasing shit as retails prevent other groups from actually ripping a good copy of it cause of this crap. If I wanted to watch imperfection, I'll watch the damn screener! If I wanted to watch these type of dvd's I'd order them from Indonesia or whatever fucked up country happens to have it at the time. It's like preaching to Jerry's Kids here.

Thats the funniest damn thing I ever read. The encode has more ghosts in it than a Scooby Doo cartoon (bad ivtc) and i guarantee when the retail disc is out, there will be a 10x better encode than this r3 shit. Do a search on google people, you can find these shit ass movies anywhere. Again there aren't retail 2-3 months pre dvds out.

The ghosting is only really there in the sample, so its obvious thats all you've got, this is the same quality as every other TCF SVCD release, so enough bullshitting please.

You will see when TCF rerips it and releases it. Then you can stfu. Not everyone is a pure leech. Sometimes its hard to get R3 deinterlaced right, ask ViTE.

I guess you didn't download the divx, no interlacing what-so-ever, how can you explain that? And if it was R3 wouldn't it have a bunch of asian subtitles? We'll wait til the dvdr is released then you're gonna look like the biggest clown posting here, might as well dig your grave now.

Posted by Figaro on 10-13-2002 06:03 PM:

Umm ever heard of ivtc or deinterlacing? Didnt say it was impossible just sometimes hard. DVDR can funnily be done the same way. Some of you yahoos need to learn the mechanics of encoding. I can make home videos of your sisters and make them with subtitles, ac3, menu and everything else a dvd requires and all i need is a video and audio. All made into a nice DVD9 and noone would be the wiser. Have a nice day.

figaro is the only other person on this board who has a clue.

lol.

Yea, I'm sure you can but can you provide every feature the new line website lists? I'm sure when the DVDR is released they'll fake the commentaries, outtakes, deleted scenes, etc. They'll go through all that trouble to fake a release with fake menu's etc. ROFL, no figaro has NO clue.

Posted by acidangelvl on 10-13-2002 08:08 PM:

last i checked

there arent any consumer based dvd9 solutions, so what good would packin it to dvd9 do

Posted by Figaro on 10-13-2002 08:34 PM:

Umm no I didnt say THEY did it. They have these little asian fellas that do all the work in Malaysia, then they find their way to Indonesia where for a nominal fee you can have yourself a nice DVD9 that for all purposes is the real deal cept of course its r3 and interlaced and not retail at all. Lets look at Sorority Boys. VOBs are dated 8/22/2002. Release done last week. So theres a month between pressed dvd and the time I guess the group got the dvd. Inomnia VOBS dated 9/17/2002 and released even earlier. Now of course dvds are pressed at different locations, HOWEVER, they are still pressed around the same date. So for all you nitwits who contest that this is a retail disk, you are the ones who are clueless. Again DVDR means absolutely nothing, grab the retail disc and check the dates and we'll see who is clueless.

anyone else having this problem?

Posted by Redemption on 10-14-2002 01:08 AM:

Who gives a fuck of the exact source, this is SVCD it isn't supposed to be exatly like the original, if this where the DVD-R release then i would see a point, but not for this.

This is good release, there might be a slightly better version in a few months, but it wont be worth another download.

I guess that means you dont have a clue as well.

Posted by mew on 10-14-2002 04:21 PM:

The source is probably good, but what I dont understand is why a big group like TCF cant get real encoders? I mean, first he fucks up the first encode, interlace/ghosting, and then they say they are repacking, and 3 days later, still nothing. They sure are fast

Also where is the DVD-R? Is it not retail and they dont want people to know? Otherwise it should be out by now.

TCF give your suppliers to some other group who can encode right please, they are a waste of resources stuck with you.
