Why do I vanish from these forums for long periods of time, yet still feel the urge to return every now and then, even though I find the majority of the members here to be child like and purile?

Also, second question, I'm moving house tomorrow, what should I do if I don't like the neighbours?

And final question, I've installed Ubuntu on my laptop, it's running fine but occasionally firefox will crash, normally whilst clicking "back". Have you any ideas why it's doing this?

2. Be an ignorant cunt so they wont ever speak and/or complain. Possibly act a little spaced out like you've smacked off your face and generally be a complete dick... You shouldn't find that too much of a stretch you ignorant junkie woman-beater!

3. I know fuck all about Ucuntu (see what I did there?) but I'd suggest backing up and recreating your Firefox profile then reload your extensions one at a time - unless one of those extentions is called "Crash the back button" in that case, try removing that.

Matching CPU/Memory/Motherboard

Ok NS, (simple terms please).

Upgrading some hardware to something along the lines of Intel Core2 Duo. Now the chip runs at 1333Mhz FSB, and the motherboard accepts this speed too. What memory do I get..

As I understand it the FSB/2 = recommended memory speed to match the CPU/board. In this case it would be 666.7 (=667Mhz) thus DDR2 667 (PC5300/5400) would be correct.

Since the highest rated FSB for the intel chips is 1333Mhz why on earth are we seeing memory speeds at around DDR2 1100 (PC8800) and in DDR3 at 1866Mhz (Patriot 2GB PC3-10666) - whats the point. Ok, i understand overclocking but is everything beyond 667 essentially for those who want to overclock fullstop?

Seems crazy that someone will try and clock the cpu/board FSB to run at 3732Mhz to handle the 1866Mhz memory.

Hardware is boring these days.

In short, it's not the MEMORY that is doubled in speed but the bus... For reasons far too complicated for me to understand this allows twice the amounts of data to be written to the memory itself whilst not having to increase the clock speed of the memory.
