Dear Neversoft,

What's the most cost-effective solution for low volume black and white printing?

Currently I'm fucked off with the price of inkjet cartridges, and not had much success with refilling (messy and too much hassle).

For price-per-print I'm fairly sure that Laser Printers are still waaaaaaay cheaper than Inkjets in the long run. Sure, the carts are expensive but they last for assloads of prints and don't "go off" as quickly as Inkjet carts do.

Yes... Screen protector thingys (trust me, the stylus might be blunt but those screens are scratchtastic) and some spare stylussesss... styliiiii... styliuussess. I got one of those "knitted" beanies for mine as well - protects it without if being bulky or gay, like a case.

Here's an odd, but probably easy question:

I've reinstalled my media PC and I now find that any videos that have white light show these lights with black snow like effect.

It's getting to be a pain in the arse with shows like ER where lots of spotlights are used, but also shows like American Dad where the eyes are normally bright white are getting a bit freaky to watch.

It's a Vista Media center PC, with xvid installed. Any ideas?

No bios or POST.

Computer works fine with other hard drives.

Does this mean the one that doesn't work is fucked?

i'm thinking the sata controller has an issue. most mobos have more than one; i would try the other. also, does the drive work on a different system?
