Ppl keep comparing this rls to DVD rips and screeners, but its not... its a TS plain and simple (just pointing out the obvious). So, just wait patiently for the screener to come out and stop positng! Let the ppl who realize that this is a TS post their thoughts instead.

I watched this release from C-entr-opy and thought it wasn't too damn bad. I know free is free, but getting this quality is more worth the download and searching time than, say, a harry potter missing sound all over the place. I'm not flaming any groups because all of them add to the scene, but whoever thinks this needs reworked (in comparison to the other release of this movie) needs to just stick to watching dvds. Nothing is ever going to be perfect for you.

in conclusion, i have downloaded many MANY c-entr-opy movies in 2 years, and have been satisfied with about 80 to 90 percent of their work. Can't say that about other groups yet

Heard a lot of people complaining, the new ntsc telesync wasn't as good as the old pal ones.

I disagree. In my opionion it's even BETTER than the old ones.
The old ones always had problems with white outs, especially StarWars2 & ScoobyDoo.

Yeah, Jackass seems to be too dark, but that can easily be corrected by using the overlay colour correction of the Gcard drivers.
With some ez modifications (brightness +20-50% , and contrast +5-10%, saturation +10%) u will get a superior picture, which is really good and better than the old CTP TS.

Ah do NOT forget to notice, that most Jackass Scenes are filmed with a Sony PC100 DV-Cam.
So the picture quality in cinemas isn't nearly as good as the quality of a usual production, and this also effects the TS as well.

One last point!
Do U remember Spiderman CTP ?
It's was hell of blocky. Compression totally sucked.
This time, the compression is nearly perfect.

This TS derserves SVCD more than any VHSSCR.

Quality is great for me... I'm not too picky. I saw it in the theaters twice, and the quality is not bad for this type of release as previously stated. I wonder though, can they release a patch with the ending somehow? Is it possible?

People talking bout centropy coming back, they been here all along to svcd's....Maybe i m getting wrong impression but sounds like your all excited saying "Back nice"...They dont , for example windtalkers dvd awhile ago.

Anyways yeh this was an ok rip, some were saying spiderman was better, well yes, best ts i ever seen...This was a little below centropy standards, but whos to complain? They rls'd it , not i..

As much as i loved centropy's old releases this is obviously not on the same level. The colors are really faded. The sound is great but video is not on the same level. The source is ntsc now so there is a new supplier. Kinda sucks cause their old guy was awsome. Im glad to see centropy back just hope that their next release will be a little better than this. 6/8/10

by far the best release so far. video is good way better then previous release i had sound is a little low but just turn it up.

I think I can speak for themajority when I say that all releases should be in svcd. There's just no point in watching anything less if the option is out there to make it massively better quality. cdr's are 10 cents! please don't tell me you can't spare one. Ts's, screeners, workprints, telecines, dvd-rips, all should be in svcd. If you hate it so much. just reencode it, it doesn't take that long.

Would be nice if someone released the full movie. The part at the end where their all old and getting blown up is some funny shit.

When is someone going to release the full movie? They always leave out the funny shit. Obus cut out all the credits, now Centropy cuts out the end sequence when they are all old and getting blown to shitz.
