Audio is not good. My JVC plays both PAL and NTSC. Burned as PAL and played on the JVC and got the low audio for most of the movie. Then I converted to NTSC , burned and played again on the DVD player. Same low audio.I have a second DVD player in the house and I have the same low level audio. As long as there is no other noise in the house, then maybe you can watch this movie. It's really hard to hear it. And you don't want to be watching it if other people are trying to sleep. Because the people on the street will be talking softly and you have to crank up the sound. All of a sudden the phone operators and the sniper will talk and they are essentially yelling out of the TV.

I watched this on my computer when it first came out.. But then I tired to burn it to watch it on my standalone and it came up in nero as non compliant so I couldnt fit both parts on one CD.. I clipped the credits and everything.
I eventually just burned it on two disks becuase I gave up.. Anyone else have this problem?
I can't believe no one here can figure out the audio "problem"
Here it is ..
if you listen to this rls on a 5 speaker system, what you are hearing through the front mains are the background/street noises, incedental phone conversations etc. .. the rear surrounds have the main dialogue, thus making it very difficult to listen to.
example:when Colin is on the phone in the beginning of the film, his voice is emitting from the rear while the person on the other end of the call is in the front. IT SHOULD BE OPPOSITE AND WHOEVER ENCODED THIS RLS FUKKED UP THE AUDIO
THE FIX (which isn't really a fix but makes it listenable): set your DVD player or HTS to stereo and get rid of any multi-speaker config for this rls.
Simple..the group should figure out their mistake..and repack
This is their first release and first impressions are always the most important no matter what your talking about..these guys better get a better ripper or read some docs on how to rip cause this encoded audio bites

I recently finished watching this release and I have to say that the video is excellent (but, it looks like they cropped off some of the bottom to get rid or a serial or a counter) and the sound is not all that bad, (at least if you are using stereo speakers instead of surround) because at first the audio sounds really screwed up, but you get used to it and I hardly noticed it at all towards the end. By the way, the movie is excellent, if you haven't seen it yet, I highly reccomend it!

Yeah the movie was pretty badass, IMO. The stereo trick worked thanks BONE. This is pretty good quality. I dont care about minor cropping... TS's are usually 10-40% of original picture cut off, so you cant complain. I think it is a pretty decent release, other than the fucked up sound.

I downloaded this but it will not burn just keeps telling me to put a CD in the burner. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?
Zen
Excellent Movie .. the quality v.good aswell
i watched this a couple of days ago and i noticed something ;
when colin farell is talking to someone from the phone booth and they appear in a small box in the corner of the screen (Ex - his wife at work, the girl he calls (katie holmes) ), we do not hear their voices at all. i turned my speakers all the way up to try to hear, and i messed around with the settings of my surround sound, but it seems to me that these voices are completely muted.
i thought maybe this was done in the movie for some type of effect because its still dramatic to not hear what the other person is saying...but when i saw it in theatres i heard their voices loud and clear. soo im concluding that thxiso fucked up pretty bad on this one !
but anyways, the movie still looks great on my tv and the audio is pretty decent too (Except for the small problem) so props to thxiso for that.

I watched this film this morning and found it to be a good worth while release, i only put it on to check the quality etc but ended up watching the whole film, i didnt have my surround speaker system set up so i cant say about the audio problem, it was fine in stereo just had to turn it right up.
i won't watch crap cams and this was one of the films that i have watched all the way through.
good release just wish they left it as it was without cropping.
Audio was low for the whole movie and cuts out of the right channel entirely a couple times in disc two. Video was, eh, VHS-y. Good film, though.

I watch the MPEGs, btw -- I don't burn.
