Video quality seems good for the most part, except for the occasional slip out of focus, for instance early in the movie, wolverine is reading some type of writing on a stone and you cant even read it since it was out of focus during that point, but it slips back into focus after awhile, dont know how it goes for cd2 since im still at 1. like what was said above sound is coming from mostly the left side, not a direct source but still you can listen to what is going on. Props on the nice pre release tho, nice try.

6/3/?

it would appear that way... certin parts have these really abrupt cuts, but from my own personal judgement... nothing important could have happened between the parts

FYI

Disc 1 runtime = 1.01.13

Disc 2 runtime = 1.01.42 Movie ends very abruptly as soon as credits start to roll so i can't see that there's very much missing from this release if anything at all..

Pic is reasonable if you turn up the brightness, sound bearable, movie about the same as the first, good but could have been so much better.

6/5/7.5

Yeah it looks like the transition from cd1 to cd 2 is missing a lil bit

and the ending i'm curious to know if maybe there is a slight teaser about the next xmen :/

the good scenes in the movie are all too dark other then the very rare chances that you can hear the audience its pretty good

5.5/6.5/8

Pretty good

I thought this release was well done. Yea sound was a bit hollow, and the video was dark in some spots. But definitly watchable. For those "L33t" ppl that are above CAMS this one is worth the d/l if you want to see it. 6/6/7

watched the sample. very viewable, as long as you dont make it full screen. 6/5/?

I'd agree with those who say that this is the type of movie that deserves to be seen on the big screen. The special effects should be experienced, and will be ruined by watching it on a small tiny screen.

I saw this movie in the cinema last night, and then i watched the cam that i downloaded cos i like the film.

It is a really good cam, right up there with UTi's quality. The first cd DOES however have some cuts in it, somewhere round where the house is getting attacked, and the metal guy is talking to that nasty bloke with the crazy ass son. And there is a bit lost between the two disks. I would put a GUESSTIMATE at about 5-10 mins missing from the film, but nothing important is lost.

The cam itself is a bit dark, but i thought the audio was ok myself, only one or two times in the movie where i was straining to hear a word.

I gave this a 6-6-8.

e.g audio/video/?

Posted by J^^ on 05-02-2003 06:19 PM:

just watched the whole thing. real nice quality. vid is real clear. goes a lil blurry at the beginning but thats not a big deal. sound is good for a cam. if it was better sound and no subs.... it would be comparable to a good centropy rls. def watchable

Got this today. Not bad on the video, not bad at all(7). Audio, like they said, is hollow(5). Pretty good sequel(9). Definately worth the price of a ticket. My ticket is free 'cause I got X-Men 1.5, which came with a free ticket to Daredevil or X2. Good thing I didn't waste it on DD. I can't tell you about the missing scenes.
Anyway, my 2 cents

claims victory...

could we have him torched in the sequel?

Well as a Birt who really isnt a fan of this x men thing but who downloaded and watched it cos it was raining...

Missing scenes? maybe so at the end of cd1 / start of 2 but cant think its much and if there are missing bits elsewhere then there didnt seem to be any gaping plot lines to me, apart from the usual...

Pic is dark but seems a dark movie, ran it through tmpgenc to lighten it up and looks nice, nice pic, sound bit hollow but have heard much worse...

Sure there will be better but for now this is no bad effort.

I had to sign up here just to say that this movie and this release is really very good, despite what many have said here...

I am still trying to figure out where the sound was 'hollow'. It obviously wasn't perfect, but for a CAM this release is damn near perfect.

The video skips at one point in the movie though (this may be my own doing), but it really seemed as if about 20 seconds of movie was cut out. It's nothing that really detracts from understanding the movie at all though. The video didn't seem to be 'dark' or anything either.

The movie, of course, fuckin rocks hardcore. MUCH better than the first one.

More Mystique. Yum. Next movie needs to just revolve around her naked blue ass. heheh

The film does cut off in places which sucks and the end cuts off, but hey, not bad overall.

Yeah there is a small cut in the middle, and an abrupt ending, but nothign much missed. Also, there were ppl laughing. It wasn't very bad at all. The one time I noticed it was when Logan made a small joke, i think it was 42 minutes into CD1, or about there, but not a huge laugh, just a chuckle. But I chuckled at it too, so didn't really make a difference. I thought the plot kind of sucked. Nothing unexpected happened really and was kind of generic good/bad fight. It's like The Real Cancun, you can watch that for a few good scenes, or can watch a GGW flick, for a whole movie like that. Some of the special effects, you can watch this movie for, or can watch another older movie that has the effects and more action.

Talking wow good job

I watched this movie yesterday and it was amazing! better than the first one! Quality was OK, sharp but blurry in the first 5-7 mins audio goes to your left speaker unless u play it on TV overall it was GREAAAt.

For a cam:

8./6/8.5

This is a very good release for a cam, just as good as UTi's (if not better if it wasn't for those damn subs).
