Sound?

I'm going out on a limb here, but does this release have stereo sound? I miss CTP's old releases that were in stereo. I know it's a nitpick, but can't hurt to ask, can it? Otherwise, can't wait to get it.

First off, yes there is a f-ing angle, second. Its not "a badass sequel" why? because its 1/2 of a damn movie. If this movie wasnt going to be followed by a 3rd installment in a manner of months, then it would be considered a failure when veiwed as an entire movie. Yes the movie was visually amazing. But in reality it is mediocre at best, until the second half is out. Those are my 2 cents.

And yes i have seen the sample. There is an angle. I'll still download this, because lets face it, its the best out, and a cd is .15 cents. Im not b!tching about the angle because i paid to see it already, but i will say this, after this bull$hit with this 1/2 a movie business, they better release Revelations as a double feature with Reloaded, or it'll go down as the biggest rip off of all time. The Wachowski have managed to create a franchise in which they can charge you twice for 1 movie, six months apart from each other. Simply Amazing.

im glad i waited...

Nice (in terms of TS) release Centropy, you really have set a new standard for TS's... anyways.. im glad i waited for this release .. o wait... no i didn't... i got the eso, ftf, videocd, xbetas, and apm... o well

Posted by hizb0la on 05-19-2003 08:33 AM:

judging by sample Pic is good, sound isnt as good as precious TS's but hey, I aint complaining. Excellent job CtP .. Definently worth the wait...

8/7/¿ - will repost one I finish watching.

Posted by B00 on 05-19-2003 08:59 AM:

decent in all but i am pretty certain this and apm,s release
come from a pdvd and to be honest the quality
isnt all that much different so only the die hards
need go for the 3cd version as apm,s is just as good.

Angry

ok I am confused here, did apm use ctp same source the camera angle seems the same but man what a nice tweaking encode of this, great job ctp 8/7/5 yes a nice old 5 for this super extra hyped movie, it didn't even come close to the first one the part when neo is fighting the agents clones, cmon did they run out of money on the cgi budget, whomever did it sticks!, neos face is so plastiky and fake. The whole plot was summed up in 10 min worst movie sequal there is, beside the whole eye candy visual, this movie is a big foundationless sinking titanic movie.
Enjoy his release!

.. Oh my god..

I had big trouble with the APM and I just peeped the CTP sample and boooy I was blown away. Great job.

10/10/10

Posted by params on 05-19-2003 09:25 AM:

APM and CTP using the same source?? don't think so

Looking at the ctp sample the angle is worse than APM but APM is stretched vertically (was OK to watch on my TV tho).

Yes the picture quality is better with the CTP but that angle is damned annoying - its worse than the angle in X2.

Posted by Alien Venom on 05-19-2003 09:41 AM:

The source of Centropy's release seems to be the same as the APM one.

The angle is the same. The audio is the same as well. It's "buzzing" in the same places.

I wonder if anyone noticed that the buzzing is only apparent when there is no background music. It sounds like (pardon the pun) that this is more of a movie theater issue (because of the surround sound) rather than Centropy/APM.

In any event, this release is exactly the same as the APM release but the video is a little better quality.

I don't particularly like the buzzing audio myself, that's really annoying at the times when there is no background music. It gets louder at times too.

Posted by nogana naishi on 05-19-2003 10:12 AM:

From the sample, the video looks very clear, and the colors are great. Still, there's an angle just like with the APM release, although I can't tell from the sample whether this one is also cropped.

Audio is excellent.

8/9/8

Once again though, too bad it's PAL.

I'd say... if bandwidth/transfer caps aren't an issue for you, go ahead and download it. Blank CDs are cheap, and this is the best release out so far.

Geez,people...get a grip already...what do you want for FREE!!!!!!!!!!

Centropy rulez the TS scene....no ifs, ands or buts....and I've dl the sample and it's as good as a TS gets...and yes,I'm gonna go see it in the theater BEFORE I watch it at home.

8/8/8(It wasn't that good)

same source

CTP and APM are probably both from a NoZone silver, as usual. If you like svcd ts's get this, otherwise just stick to the APM version.

How can people say this release has "no angle"? I only had to look at the jpeg to see that it has. I think Centropy have a regular seat in their local cinema, as the angle seems the same on all their latest releases. Can I just stress that I ain't complaining, as I'd rather have picture sharpness over a little angle any day.

I don't know if anyone from Centropy reads these posts, but isn't there some way they can 'unangle' their video using somekind of filter that would rotate each frame slightly whilst encoding? I know they'd have to crop it afterwards, but it wouldn't really lose a significant amount of picture. Just a thought.

Great work guys, I just love your quality before speed approach to releases.

All the best,

BS...

Nice release CTP, not much different from APM but slightly better audio.

Talking Ha Ha! Angle/Keystone

Playing this release on my Projector, I adjust the kaystone so that the image is correct (Although the sides are flared out a bit). This makes watching this rls perfectly good for me 7/6/?

Oh... And BTW.. WHY are all of these socalled "TS"'s being called Telesyncs? These are all cams. A telesync would require them having access to the actual film and running it through a TS machine, not something that is easilly done....

How could APM steal CTP VCD version? I havent seen any VCD from CTP in a long time? CTP only releases SVCD or?

Posted by shorty6pac on 05-19-2003 01:08 PM:

Im guessing all the people that are complaining about it being 3 disks are the same people that complained when LOTR 1 and 2 came out being 4 disks. I mean come on you complain about the quality when its 2 disks, and complain about the length when its 3 I guess you cant make everyone happy. If its to long get the APM rls since its the same source. As for this release 8/8/12 looks good.
