Geez, some people complain a LOT. This is the best version of the movie out there. The sound is good, the picture is fine, it is IN-SYNC and you can READ THE SUBTITLES at the beginning of the movie. On the NOX version the picture seemed at a very bad angle and the subs were cropped till they were almost off the screen.

NOX had a good release. Dark picture, but clear sound. OUT OF SYNC? What, are you timing by milliseconds? LMFAO Like I always say - IF YOU CARE THAT MUCH, GO TO THE GODDAMN THEATER.

CTP's is fine as well, little brighter colors, but not as clear on the sound.


The movie was better than I expected, but still seriously flawed. Go in not expecting much, and you may enjoy it. The plot blows, and the "Phantom" is the lamest, retarded villian I have seen put on film in the last 5 years, at least.


PLEASE, people... Get a life... Get out of the house once in a while. Get up off the couch, get out from in front of your damn PC and broadband, and get a fucking life. Why must these groups (CTP, NOX, TCF, etc.) bitch back and forth, while their fanboys/girls bitch back and forth... IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER. It's not like CTP is making money off of getting it out quicker, or by being cocky about it...

SO WHY THE HELL DOES IT MATTER?

Answer - it doesn't. Download what you want, and just be happy this shit is there for you in the first place. And if you are a release group, just release your shit and STFU about the other groups.

Because the way it is, you all sound like a bunch of pre-schoolers, arguing over who stole whos Legos, for christs sake.

KrackZaa - exactly - you said it yourself, and still missed the point.

The purpose of this site is to RATE and REVIEW the quality of the release - not bitch about who did what to who, who sucked who's dick, who stole what... That's all bullshit.

All I'm saying, is watch the RELEASE itself (don't look at a jpg or 1 minute doctored sample, and then jump on here like you are cool), and then tell me if the pic is grainy or not. don't tell me you are waiting for CTP or whoever - I don't give a shit... Nor do most of the SERIOUS members here.

And people - rate a CAM based on a CAM, not a DVDScr. Same goes for TS, TC, or whatever. TS pic is still a CAM pic, so rate it BASED on that.

All the groups deserve praise of even attempting to get you these movies. Period. Think you can do better? Want to slam a group for not performing up to par with another? Fine... Go buy a DV Cam and do the shit yourself. Or shut up, and wait to rate your bitch's release.

Picture has less cropping than the other SVCD releases. Picture looks a bit better also, but the audio on the NOX version is much better. The NOX version appears to be FULL stereo. About on par with a good typical Centropy release otherwise.

This is typical CTP quality. I don't understand how people could compare this to NOX version. There is hardly any angle, while the NOX version is not even aligned correctly, just watch beginning scenes. Great work, the sound is not as great as NOX, but the picture definitely makes out for it. 8/7/6

CTP vs NOX

I have read lots of reviews comparing the two releases, and now its time for my two cents. The Centropy version is much better than the NOX. NOX's audio goes in and out of sync, has several sound glitches, has people walking in front of the camera 3 times, has very cropped AR. The credits and subtitles at the beginning are not only cut off, but you see the very tops of the words at an incredible stretched angle. NOX's release is very cropped. Centropy has the complete screen, fully displaying all subs, and opening credits. Some people were saying that NOX had the last minute cut off. Thats not true. They are both complete, but Centropy actually waits until the credit start to roll before cuttting theirs off. NOX cuts theirs off when it goes to black screen. They are both complete. Centropy has their usual angle problem, but its not bad, and IMHO doesn't take much away from the quality. Centropy's isn't as dark, and has better colors. Both releases are watchable, but if you have to pick, then pick Centropy. Thanks to both release groups for their efforts.

CATBOX

Video is better than NOX - less grainy, not as dark, not near as much cropping. Sound is NOT as good as NOX. Nox seems to be in STEREO ! 8/7/7

I find it amusing that peeps jump all over a group for one less than par release.....I found this release average and easily watchable, and give centropy a well done in my books.....and to all those peeps who say centropy is slippin and shit over this release remember these groups owe you nothing so be grateful.

Cant understand why this doesnt get the credit it deserves. I think a lot of people just put it on for the first 10 minutees and say "no, too dark" etc etc. Well, yeah, the first 10 minutes do look like crap, but the rest of it is brilliant.

Most of CTP releases are crap nowadays. Ok, picture and audio are usually fine, only the white color seems to have some problems. The problem is the angle! Because of it some CTP releases are not even watchable. And the cropping is sometimes quite awful.

I watched the whole movie. Way better than the rest of the releases. The sound is loud, but rumble the woofers in my stereo. The picture is Great. On my 61" in looked wonderful. And it does have an angle but so what. Its a great release. Thank CTP. 8/8/7.
