I can't believe I'm deleting a CTP version of a film before having watched it.

This release makes me want to sit and watch the movie NOW

Based off the sample..

9/10/9

Awesome Telecine.

The sample plays a little fast on my system (through Power DVD). Anybody else notice this?

Maybe it's just my system.

sweet quality..for a TS..what gives it away is the shadow of a persons head about 7 minutes into the first cd...other then that, sweet quality video and audio...

juding from the sample, I'd say 9.5/.9.5/6. I still believe this is a TC, not a TS. And if it was a TS, WOW

It's all good but there's been better TC's if that's what this really is. If it's a TS then I don't think I've ever seen a better rip better than anything CTP have ripped in the last 2 years.

I'd give it an 8/9.5/8 if it's a TC
10/9.5/8 if it's a TS

only skimmed the 1st disk no sync issues for me, viewed in xbmp.

Terminator.3.Rise.of.the.Machines.TC.DVDR-Replica

I just tried this little baby! It's 5.1 audio, impressing audio effects!! Compared to those buzzing mono-lines we're used to for pre-retail/pre-screener it's a hell of a difference. I think this is best non-retail/screener qual I've ever seen.

9/9/9

Posted by deadsquirrel on 08-06-2003 12:12 PM:

are you sure its 5.1? I thought it said in the nfo that its downsampled?... but what do i know... im just a newbie.

Posted by lickmyzack on 08-06-2003 01:42 PM:

Excellent quality release, wish there were more like it :-)
Video is excellent, audio is fantastic as well!!

9/9/9

Finally got around to burn it and popped it in the dvd player - and wow it's great.

I never leech CAM/TS cause I hate bad colour/angle/sound and all that shit but this pwned me. Also the movie opens here on friday

9/9/?

Dude I rate things on what they are!

A TC of this quality has room for improvement so 8/10

A TS of the quality couldn't be much better so 10/10

it's rated video/audio/movie so you see I can have 2 different scores for the same movie depending on source.

Deadsquirrel, the 5.1 audio he mentions is on the DVDR version, not this SVCD.

Posted by lorddusty on 08-06-2003 08:42 PM:

Ok I'm about halfway through Cd 1 of this rls and am very impressed so 9/9/8 for the score. As for the source, I'm thinking it is a TS of a DLP source, hence why there are no change over cues (cig burns). In the article
someone posted earlier it mentions recording the image off of a display screen up in the projection booth, which would explain the nice coloration/focus, lack of flicker etc.

Edit: MMk almost through the film now and I've seen a few change over cues as well as a factory splice so I guess DLP is outta the question, just a really nice TS.

Seen the sample. I give the video 9 and the audio 8. Why cant anyone be grateful that you get a good release only a month after its been released. GOD

Posted by darthhoarder on 08-06-2003 09:17 PM:

why is this rated over 9 on video?
i dl'd both parts..
it is cropped, i hate that, it's like im spying on the movie through a tank's slit-windows. and i couldn't see her titty at the store.
the bright scenes look fine, lot of detail, color is balanced right
the not so bright scenes suck. red faces, dull/blurry dark areas.
the dark scenes are too dark, ie i couldn't really see her ass.
audio is fine - loud and clear, even some stereo action, i noticed.

8.8/9/7

would rank the video higher if the other elements were as good as the clarity and color of the bright scenes, and if it wan't cropped dammit.

i like the way everyone seems overawed with an article that

1. says nothing new at all about anything
2. calls telesyncs "screeners"

..sigh...

Try

Nothing new about TS's but could teach some newbies a thing or 2.
