This was a comic book, too.

Anyway, I might've had a bad burn, but CD2 got frozen at the part where the dude finds his gun covered in slime (I have an Apex player without a display, and I lost my remote) up until the first Alien Vs. Predator scene. It plays for about a minute, then freezes when Lex kills the Alien, right before Predator 1 dies.

This is a very nice release...after downloading SG18 cd1, I think their version should have came with a free offer for toilet paper, so you could flush the shit after wasting bandwidth.

Thank Goodness for maVen...nice respectable release..just picked up and skimmed through cd1 and cd2 and no complaints..good job..the guys head that was through the whole movie in the bottom right corner was unusual for a maVen release..and it took the asshole damn near 2 mins to sit down and get comfortable..lol

8/9/8 movie was actually pretty good listening to others I would have thought differently. but even for PG the action was strong and the effects were lovely. story falls off base a little but overall great movie..can't wait for the sequel.

this thread is to report on the quality of the fucking release, not speculate about release group's drama, the mods of the site don't want that type of talk here because it brings unwanted discussion and uneeded attention to specifics, if you want to ramble on about your theories of group releases you know nothing about, do it amongst talk with your friends, not on this forum, god damn i hate you people.

Now again only judging from cd1, it's dark, durr it's avp it's not gonna be in central park during the middle of the day, no doubt the best release out to date, I like the quality, very appealing with what seems as standard audio, glad to see a decent release out of this.
8/8/? -> not expecting a real high score for the film itself.

i love it.. it would be.. as if.. you watch them rip it from a silver or something ? you dont get these quality of rips unless its from a scene dedicated group (ie - ctp ?) you cant get this good quality from something thats been encoded once already....

anywho. video is definitely a 8/9 as usual, and video and 10, its dts.. no fuck ups that i noticed when watched. shit movie. never will watch again.

Had to point something out... In Alien3 (I know we are all trying to forget that movie as being part of the Alien series) the Xenomorph did gestate in a dog, and the result was a Canine Hybrid. The script is actually quite good, and you may be able to still find it online.

As for your comment about the Yautja, I agree, they did not move the same, and it didn't really look right. I saw this in the theater, and while I thought it could have been done better, I still enjoyed it.

As for this release, just checked out the sample, and it looks dark, but def. the best release so far. Will watch it tonight with all the lights out.

Having seen the whole thing, the picture is good but not THAT good (7), audio is great (8), film is better than I'd thought it'll be (6).

More like a Predator film where the Aliens get in the way to me, would've been better if they got someone who actually SAW the previous films.

MaVen are gods, but I was hoping for something with picture quality as good as Collateral, but hey can't complain they're doing this for free.

As for the movie, I went to a screening a day before it opened, wasn't impressed at all, shotty acting ( except for Lance Henriksen who play's the Bishop character in Aliens and Alien 3 ) and just an overall feeling of " damn this reminds my of Freddy vs. Jason ". You can't top an original, and thats been proven over and over.

Props to maVen on the nice release, good to see some decent SVCD TS's instead of fucking CAM's. Sounds o.k. on the T.V. and the picture is solid.

I thought the movie sucked when I saw the nox release, took me a good 10 hours after release was pre'd to decide to watch maVens release.

I now think the movie owns hahaha.

Picture - Crisp, maybe a little dark but that's because the movies dark...put your brightness up a bit and you're set. 8.5/10

Sound - Amazing...didn't have any problems understanding anything. 10/10

Movie - I don't know what most people hate about it, I loved it. Good story, Good action. 8/10

I never post in here, because it just ain't worth it. THe first 2 pages of posts are morons pretending they've seen the movie, when they've only seen the sample or jpeg. All you do is f-in whine and complain about ALL the groups no matter who they are. One week the sun shines out of a groups arse, the next they are shit. And you wonder why the scene is dying and the great groups of days gone past are gone.

MaVen consistantly release good quality TS's, and i'm happy they do. Other groups do their bit, some poorly, some well. Who gives a poo if YOU want to wait for a DVD-Rip from a specific group before you're happy - if that's the case, stay out of the 'VCD' section and stick in the DVD-R one.

Saw this one tonight - wasn't totally impressed with the Audio, but for a movie i'm watching at home, on a Television (which is what VCDs and SVCDs are designed for - for those that say it looks shit on a computer) it's very watchable. Little dark in places, but it's a dark movie, so i'm sure the original was.

now quit whining like i just did and rate the movies. I noticed as soon as 404 stopped posting the rules as the first post, the slagging all started again - maybe that needs to be auto inserted into every release (hint hint)

After finally taking time to watch this i dont feel this copy warrents an 7-8-9-10 rating for picture but rather a 6. Why? Compairing to past TELESYNC's seen in the past few years this is no better then a copy MaTinE or iMPERiAL releases with DTS disk.

The Colors were washed a bit, The Picture is constant grainy, Flickering in the picture , bit cropped and mostly constant people getting up and down in front of the camera with heads & bodys in front of the screen. The Guy bottom right of screen got a bit annoying. Motion Blurness and AutoFocus problem at times also. The Audio also like maVens past releases .. quiet and needing Audio crank or Music wayy louder the speech.

This yes is the nicest copy out so far but not a "sweet, kickass, perfect" Telesync. Coulda been alot better. Also intro Says finest German/English Telesync's but yet the subs are all french ...
