Overall for a pre release it doesn't matter what it is as its better then having nothing. But, the reason defining exactly what it is is importent is becasue the source it came from can provide allot of information about a release, there is a HUGE difference in a WP and a SCR. The biggest being that a SCR is a final print of the movie, so its exactly as would be in theatre. A WP on the other hand is messy, contains scenes that may not be in final, has missing scenes, possible alternate ending, and often a different title in the opening sequence, even different audio in allot of places and so on. regardless of quality, some people will deside entirely on wether its a SCR or a WP. Some dont want to see messy unfinished cut of a movie, they are just interested in the finished product. Others, such as possible Halloween fans, might very much like to see the 'working' copy of the movie with all the differences and things they probably wont see in the final cut. It's like having unreleased deleted scenes of your favorite movie.
Please do not flame others for caring what the source is, just because you don't. It makes you look narrowminded

So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....

this was the biggest piece of shit release i have ever seen.
please ftf---- QUIT.
Ive had stomach virus' that didnt make me as sick as this movie did. And i'm a jackass for even d/ling a ftf release, i guess i got what i asked for. There were more frames dropped at the end of this movie, then frames captured.

One thing wesbob and I noticed when watching this release was the HUGE ammount subliminal messages throught it. Atleast 10, watch it again, on your DVD player, and make sure you have slo-mo. Very cool shit.

this is indeed a workprint with a fake ending. The ending is not the same as the theather release as I saw it last night. Other then that and the cd2 problem its a great release. If they fix cd2 I will be redownloading this movie as everything except the ending is the same as the movie.

Posted by bmvtoys on 07-14-2002 03:32 AM:

it appears as if cd2 has some strange encode problem. Anyone know of a way to fix it? b

Posted by ^Om3n on 07-14-2002 05:50 AM:

ewfbootlegga, having a different encoding does not make it fake. Alternate endoings are more common than you would think.

your right I meant to say alternate ending. I kinda liked seeing both endings to tell you the truth and if they were able to reencode that 2nd half this would be a great release.

Posted by jedialphaknight on 07-16-2002 04:13 AM:

what a horrible fucking release do not spend anytime downloading this, the second cd is so unbarible it literally goes down to 5 frames per sec do these people watch the movie or test it out before they release it?

Posted by AngelDeath on 07-16-2002 08:31 AM:

Good I thought it was me with the rls, the second CD I put together on one CD cause it was short (thought it was odd), and the second CD was the worst, I couldnt stand it, but I bared with it cause I wanted to see it, and even if the ending was different then the one in the movies, I dont care, its not even worth my time to DL it again, being a big fan of Holloween, they should have left well enough alone. Seems Holloween and Friday the 13th are both trying to do the same thing, break the guiness book of world records, which is a shame. Thank god Nightmare on Elm Street decided against pursuing it. And least they kept there dignity!

Video: CD1: 5 CD2: 2
Audio: CD1: 6 CD2: 3
Movie: 4
