An Update after trying it on a TV.

The AR isnt as noticable on a WS TV though it is off putting, but the pic is sharper and the dark bits look fine on the TV, while on the PC they're too dark.

The only fault i have is the sound, its too loud, it clear enough, but it verges on mild distortion in action scenes, but still a fine release, and will do until the DVD-Scr/Rip, I dont see a VHS Screener being as good and TC's seem to be a rareity again.

oh errr missus did just i notice that ?

anyways, yes we on page 4 now of this thred and nobody had said about the bit where the lock on the Tripod comes loose and the cam slowly tips down till almost the cam is pointing at the floor.
lol
Least the dude was on the case and noticed it and fixed it quick sharp.
also nobody said about the dude that walked past the Cam a bit of the way into the Pic.
im wondering how many rate a movie here after seeing just the sample.
i know its a lot but i wonder just how many?
some even rate by just the screen shot.
lol
sad

anyhoo, its the best of the 3 out there.
im not one for giveing the rateing by feckn numbers.

safe to say for a Cam TS its blinding and wont spoil the film if you want to watch it for the 1st time.
colours for a Cam Ts are good
Sound is good though a little to digital (if you know wot i mean?)
movie itself is verry good
one of them films you can sit and watch With the kids.

ya take a risk Caming 5hit these days,
Spechaly a big one like this.
they where there at the UK film fair with there night goggles.
5hits getting harder n harder to bring these movies to us as early as poss.
so well done on a fine Rls before Crimbo.
thanx guys

Bring on Blade 3

I noticed a small camera jerk at one point (during the dinner table scene, I think), but it didn't seem anywhere near as bad as you describe. A small tilt at best. I certainly didn't see anybody walking past the camera, although that happened at least twice during the POT release. Where did this happen? Are you sure you are reviewing the right release?

I'm having audio synch issues when converting the mpgs to a DVDR compliant mpg in DVD Source Creator, so I can dump the movie to DVDR.

Anyone got any suggestions??? Should I be using a better program, or is it an issue with the release???

Ta,
mikeymcd

And it looks really well on a WS Tv aswell.

Overtime we've had some great telesync's from Maven, CTP, TCR, Videocd, and Even Pot & SG18. Oh yeah! and Tun.

But with this being another TS from CTP, its about average. No doubt I've seen them better. The camera moving alot and some pixelations knocked it down a notch, plus I had to do some major contract and luminance fixes. Overall its the better one out and great audio. But definitely not their worse or best.

I think the SVCD Telesync's are going to shits, Shark Tale gave me hope, but they are seeming rushed and worse. But props to all that supply us. I just wish the telesyncs were more than just cams with direct audio, people walking through the screen, camera constantly moving, it just ruins it. you would think years later it would've been better but oh! well great job ctp I look forward to more work.

7/9/10 Great movie...Even for a old guy I loved it. So did my son and my fiancee.

Watched this about 2 days ago when it first came out .. late on the post, but here it goes ..

The picture was slightly blurry/dark .. colors weren't the greatest for a cartoon, seemed kinda rushed to me. Whenever the audio got loud (i mean extremely loud), it became fuzzy and hard to understand - this only happened a few times and lasted only a few seconds though. Movie was good, don't really agree with that imdb rating, but it's good .. if you like Pixar stuff, you'll really enjoy this..wish i would have seen it in the theater though

Overall i give this ...

7/7.5/7.5

Audio is nice pic a shade dark but still good

8/8/9

Posted by diekund on 11-11-2004 01:54 PM:

yes the camera does fuck up a few times. like in the scene where hes coming out of his car from work (before he picks it up above his head) the camera slips and is almost facing the roof. im still not impressed with this rls after watching the whole thing. the sound is a piss take, gets sooo loud when that robot thing is fighting him. already rated on quality before

Posted by joebb3 on 11-12-2004 07:21 AM:

I didn't notice the bad AR... The colors were much brighter than POTs release (Which was a fantastic release as well) and the audio was good... And my kids laughed the entire movie making it a GREAT family time and me "Super Dad" for getting it and converting it to DVD... Thanx Centropy... We've missed you!

8/7.5/9

Posted by Justin_Case on 11-12-2004 09:36 AM:

Hells Yea!!!

notbadjob CTP, still no Spiderman,Undercover Brother qual, but still alot better than everything else brought to the table.

V: 8
A: 9
M: Best Damned Super Hero Film I've ever seen

but that's just my 420 cents

I know this has been out a few days but I just got a chance to watch this. Picture was okay. The letterbox is a little to big (for some reason a little more on the bottom than the top). The audio was fine and the movie itself was typical Pixar.

Anyway:
Video 8(little movement but no big deal)
Audio 9
Movie 8

Posted by PlasmaWhore on 11-13-2004 08:04 AM:

Video was much better than the POT release, makes me wish I had waited since the one I watched all the way through was really dark. I rewatched a lot of this release and it made the movie much more enjoyable.
