7/8/1

video was pretty good, similiar to previous mavern rls's

audio was on the quiet side but was pretty clear and in sync

movie was absoloute dribble

star studded cast but the film never got going, you expect things to happen with regards to the 1st film but then u notice over 100 minutes have passed and still u dont know wtf is going on

the film is a bit like 20 grams where it is in reverse

I only watched this flick because I saw the original. I wasn't disappointed. Except Brad Pitt's character wasn't eating in every scene.

little blurry and dark in some scenes, good audio as usual
7/8/7

I gotta finish watching this...will probably start from the beginning since I was somewhat confused by about 45 minutes in. This is what happens when they take a script meant for John Woo and basically re-work around the OC11 characters. The plot is all over the place and doesn't match the flow of the original IMO.

Off-topic...but has anyone else seen the CUEFIX for CD1 of this release floating around? I had no problems with the cue in CD1...did anyone else?

cue fix is simple - just open a text editor and put the right
filename in for the first cd.

nice release maVen I had to do some adjustments with Tmpgenc but overall lovely... Just watched the movie for a second time. Alot of twist and turns which made it different. but overall very nice film...great job.

8/9/7 movie was above average. but definitely not bad.

Not much better that the previous release.

Pic is quite fuzzy and dull.

I am kinda new to this. But, this was a pretty good quality release for a svcd. Picture was very watchable and the sound was bang on.

7.5/8.5/8

Good work Maven , keep up the good work.

The movie was a huge disappointment.

Grabbed this release. Good job MaVen keep them coming. But please take your time. Video is MaVen quality. Audio is good. For the movie looks like a movie for a older group. Im 14 and only watched the first CD. Wasn't that fun.

I must say...rating just a sample is fucking moronic...like someone else said, you can't rate a jpeg...

anyway, is it just me or are the intro credits and location titles and shit not english?

[EDIT:: Moronic? Try reading our posting rules. SAMPLE RATING IS ALLOWED IN COMMENTS THREADS - Neversoft]

7/7/6

not the best coming from these guys but definnatly viewable

7/7/7

movie was not as good as the first. but thats just me

Posted by morco on 12-21-2004 11:58 PM:

pretty good quality, def not the best from maven.

7/9/8

on a side note, what was that song maven used in their intro, it sounded like rammestein or sumthing. Would really appreciate it if some could tell me what that song was called.

Posted by PleXo on 12-23-2004 06:28 PM:

well they have tryed real hard on this one to show whos the boss :P
anyways, from start to ending titles, not any crap like cutin off b4 it says "the end", nice quality, kinda dark, n all tht, still real good, they made like black rectangles over the writing an made em english, kinda oversized the black rectangles though,
rating as svcd telesync:
video-9
audio-9
movie-???

Posted by The CandyMan on 12-26-2004 02:57 PM:

Maven quality hasen't quite been the same, this shows how much has changed. Video is decent, but too many dark scenes, some pixelation as well, but the audio was pretty good.

6/8/6 - Movie is a sequel so what would you expect?

cue file on CD1

Can someone go through the fix on cue file 1 for me. I can't burn it, or mount it because of the error. Any help would be appreciated.

Posted by GrabAndGoHero on 12-29-2004 09:50 PM:

I didnt have any problem's with cd1, but cd3 doesnt have a cue. A read error happened during unpacking, can someone tell me what to do? do i need to unpack it again? replace a filename?

Thanks in advance,

Hero

[EDIT:: Wrong place to ask you Muppet, but if you must know - install QuickSFV then open the .sfv file that is in the same folder as the rars. It'll tell you which rar is fucked - Neversoft]

Not the best by maVen but still very watchable.

7/8/4

Colours a bit washed and dark in some scenes.
Didn't like the movie at all.

Watched this on the big screen, based on the fact its a telesync:

Video: 8 (good, but not the best SVCD telesync ive ever seen)
Sound: 9
Movie: 7 (good, but not as good as the first movie)

Best Oceans 12 release so far, very watchable.
