I think some people have waaaay to much time on their hands. For the layman who is just looking to get a decent copy of the movie, this one is great for the speed. I could care less if group 1 and 2 put it out first, because this is the only copy I could find. So if there are 2 other versions and this is a reencode, so be it, maybe the other groups should share their files.
That being said, my ratings for this movie (And I am actually rating it just on what your supposed to!)
Video - 8 (to bad the english subs are cut in the few scenes where they are needed)
Audio - 7 (seems to get slightly out of sync every so often but quickly corrects itself)
Movie - 6 (ok movie, but just didnt keep me in my chair)
Its not often you get something of this quality within 24 hours of release in US theatres.
hmm. on second thought, i would have rather watched the xvid release, even with the spanish subs...
Holy horseshit batman....
Movie: 7
Effort: F
Respect: -999*

just a ?
ok it is a nice release but isnt the first of the movie missing
yup..this release is ok...but trailer has been added 2 the beginin..lol...but both where ok...lets just hope a full release comes soon as both are missin beging and end?....7/7/6
All the release of this film are a bit fucked up, thats what ive found, and its of no fault of the group, they all have AR problems which can be fixed though, they all appear to have missing footage, although since i havent saw this at the Cinema, i cant confirm how much, and they all either have Subs or a severly cropped.
This is a perfectly fine release compared to the others.
"Worst release Ever" not a chance, its not even the worst release this week, that has to go to Cobra's release of State Property.

tisk tisk tisk
what a pity, a nuke. Not a good start for a new group definetly leave it alone.
wow, what can be said?
slightly lower quality then the original xvid.
Logo in the bottom right corner shows this is a blatant lie. It's a reencode of the xvid encode of the dvd scr.
Watch the xvid if you need to.
not even bothering since it was nuked.

And it appears Burt Reynolds has changed his name to Turd Furgeson.
That's right, it's a funny name
is this the same release that is missing the first 20 min. of the movie?
I didnt mind the movie at all, I can live with the cropping, its not that bad if you just want to watch the movie its fine.
but why cut out the english subs, there are parts of the movie where they are actually needed, like when the Africans are talking COOGIE or what ever lingo it was.
cant blame a group for trying though....
V - 8
A - 9
M - 6

Do not bother with this release as it uses the original bad upload and they've managed to make it worse. If you want to know more check out vcdquality.com

Dont be a sheep and listen to what the vcdquality idiots have to say (they often never watch releases b4 commenting and this is an example, nearly all there comments are aimed at the group and not the release) check it out for youself b4 saying "dont bother with it"....
how can i fix the aspect ratio?!
big thanks in advance!
I must say this thread is long.
I have 3 versions of the movie.
1 Original xvid 2 cd´s with spanish subs.
1 Mof xvid without spanish subs.
1 VO dvdrip no spannish subs.
First of all, they all start the same way, in a speaker room where she overhears a phone talk, dont know if this is the real beginning.
Second, they all have the LMD mark, in the movie, it comes and goes.
The two movies without the subs, are cropped, no doubt, comparared the same frame on all 3.
The strange thing is, taht the ones without subs, still show the LMD mark, in the bottom of the movie, and the one with subs shows the mark the same place.
The mark should be gone on the cropped ones.
People say that its a shame the english subs are cropped out to when they talk spanish, I think its because its a screener for spanish speaking people so there ate no english sub, and no there is no english subs in the so called original.
But the mark thing is strange, I think.
Quality on movie, is 8, cropped or no crop, i judge the sub one,
Sound is 5, no good 48Khz 128
Movie ?

lmao at this rls and grp, but
just to correct ppl saying begining is missing, the xvid, this reencode and any other version is not missing anything (except a few ENG subs are needed in 2 scenes, at least, when another language is spoken and is not a scene where anything is being interpreted , and begining credits) as the first scene is nicole kidman hearing "in a whisper; someone is going to be assasinated" ,etc.
pretty good movie though

To fix the aspect ratio, either re-encode it AGAIN, or use the 16:9 option on ur tv if u've got one, or watch it in some software that can change the ratio (like media player classic). But whatever you do u'll be watching a thin strip across the middle of ur screen
Now, my 2 pence worth...
That is NOT, the TMD logo. Anyone who has seen a TMD re-encode will know that. This site is making itself look VERY foolish by saying that it is the TMD logo.
It's just a few passionate/frustrated members getting miffed about the recent batch of shite quality rls' at the moment and the rest jumping on the flaming bandwagon trying to look clever.
But I still think VCDQ is an informative site to get a decent idea of the quality of a release. If only for the sheer number of users. (somebody is bound to be right
May VCDQ continue.
gots to do more research on this biz audio 6 glaring:video 6 would have like to know what they were saying : movie 5 kept zzzzzzzzzz ing out
