Not bad at all.. 7/8/7
V:7
A:6
M:5 Very dissoppointed, didnt take us where it should have took us at the end.
M:9 up until then, well worth the watch
great job!
I transferred this to dvd and watched some of it on my tv. All I have to say is great job Centropy!!! I don't know why the ratings aren't higher. The audio did have a little hum in the beginning but the audio is not and loud and clear and you can't hear the humming at all during the movie. I didn't watch the whole thing, just about 15 minutes of it and this is a great copy. You can't notice the pixelation on the tv. People who are saying there is a lot of pixelation must be watching it on the pc.
video -8.5
audio - 8
movie - ? didn't finish yet
screw this SW3 fanboyism. I'll gladly bootleg it and not pay for it since the previous two have been insane letdowns so forget the sucking off of the movie destroyer known as Lucas.
now, onto this release...
Video is fine except for heads in and out a lot and this one "top of head" that just stays there the whole time. But if you're watching the movie, it's fine
Audio was fine, no real complaints... heard everything except the final line, but figured out what it was.
Movie.... what a disappointment. The second it strayed from the book with "creative licensing" it just was boring and stupid.
the first half seemingly had the entire book down perfectly; I was really wondering how they'd be able to get Adams' random writing style into a film.
however, you can almost pinpoint the moment Douglas Adams died in the writing of this movie.... for it just goes way off and gets way stupid and just really losing its entertainment value.
Damn shame.
8/8/4 (first half.. definite 9)
8/7/?
Only watched some, haven't sat down through it all.
The buzz in the background is noticably only if you pump up the volume, other than that it's pretty clear.
CTP does it again.
Seeing this get sheep nuked latley for "background & soundeffects missing".
Time to stick up for Centropy
If you checked day 1 , you woulda noticed that sure the sound only comes outta front center speaker , the two front left/right are silent. Which woulda had the special effects & background noises.
People gotta understand DTS Days are over, and unless they want a CAM of every movie , the audio is more then likley going to be jacked or recorded from armchair. The sound wont be 5.1 anymore until retail.
When it comes to CAMERA & TELESYNC copies , i dont expect retail and theres flaws to each rip of these formats. Sound especially since DTS (Direct theater Sound) Days are over.
Watched this movie today and im glad i didnt pay the $10 to see it in the theater , what a crappy movie ...
Centropy's copy gave me the just of it (with or without all the fancy sound noises) and showed me what a boring movie this was
7/7/6
I just couldn't stand the main character's pessimistic attitude. All the other characters were great though.

I wouldn't say DTS Days are over, just on pause, anything can be and will be cracked end of story.
HA DTS, the size of true DTS sound would be larger than the svcd cd itself, ive been laughing for yrs about the so called DTS sound on a SVCD, only true DVD's have REAL DTS 6:1 or better sound
When my Yammi RX1 reciever light's up DTS i'll become a believer
Watching this on my 42" panny plaz it looks like shit, saso's xXx looked alot better......
5/5/?

Hitchhickers guide to the galaxy
Great picture usual good quality from centropy.
Is a hum in the background which is noticable when things go quiet in the film but not to serious.
Film itself will probably disappoint fans of the tv series.
8/7/5
Good Audio And Video, film was okay.
8/8/6
Alrighty , DTS dayz arent over, it will be cracked *someday* but till then we gotta settle with jacked audio.
Of Course SVCDs arent true 5.1 , as when DTS Disks were decoded to wav and mp2.
Laugh all you want , it was still a hella lot better then "jacked" (plugged in) audio
8/8/9
Picture was good and audio was clear.Gonna watch this again tonight.
As someone who never even heard of Douglas Adams before, I thought it was a great movie.

And it appears Burt Reynolds has changed his name to Turd Furgeson.
That's right, it's a funny name
After watching this all the way through, I am guessing most are either deaf and blind.
The video is a re-encode of the same source Lexus used, look for the elvis lookalike in the bottom left about 3 quarters through.
the audio is dodgy at best, only centre sound (by the sounds of it)
7 (as its not that bad) / 5 / blah
7/6/8
Pic is decent, audio is quite lacking (missing effects-slight hum) but the overall movie was pretty good.
Being a big Adams fan, I was definately NOT disappointed.
It's pretty hard to turn a Radio play/ TV series / Novel into a 2 hour movie without having to butcher it up.
I think it survived nicely.
So long, and thanks for all the telesyncs.
