It really does look like a standalone-DVD recorder job because it reminds me so much of a LaserDisc rip.

That's what I forgot to mention in my comment lol.

It looks like it was captured with a pretty decent card ... there is color banding (that you normally see on screener tapes) ... if you watch this movie carefully; you'll see color banding that you never usually see off digital sources.

I'm telling you guys, that I saw this movie being played at this one burger king near where I live.

I think that's the source.

My version has the Darth Vader menu screen and is complete, stopping at the beginning of the end credits. It's from KKI and is an excellent release.

9/8/8

This is what it says toward the bottom of the NFO:
-no bloody credits no real reason...
-didn't use the new iND dvdr source for video becuase it was
nuked for blocky video and whatnot. i did a side by side
comparison and the video on the xvid is less blocky then the
dvdr source becuase the iND dvdr people used a shit
compression to do the dvdr conversion. so even thoe its a
less sharper image then the iND dvdr you won't notice it on a
tv, so there for useless. also didn't feel like muxing in the
last 5 missing minutes on the iND dvdr release and fucking up
the audio or chancing doing so.
-didn't bother fixing the clipping issues on the audio, can't
truly fix what isn't there.

notes..
-there was a version of this posted via newsgroups, but we felt
this newly edited version deserved more.
-my menus own you
-enjoy, you will.

I'm happy with the kki release till the retail comes out

Nope. iND means independant. It just means that the release was anonymous.
