as for the over burning...i had no problem with it. i created a dvd out of this release because it was so freakn good.

Awesome quality TS but its a shame about the movie sucking, I think the first 5 minutes were the best but then its downhill from there.

watched the movie last night, and I must say that the quality is very sweet along with the audio.

You had the UFO fly around every 10 minutes or so, but you couldnt see it.

CD2 is too large to burn normally.
Sadly, my burner doesnt seem to support overburn.

Extracting the mpg from the bin resulted in various sector read errors and whatnot which resulted in me not being able to edit some time offf or re-create the svcd.

I like the way the Jpeg has the big black mark....its nothing more than film popup for like a millisecond.....everyone thought it was a shadow....know before you post...Great release overall colors and sound are nice as hell...Damn get to work on The Island and many others...looking forward to more...

8/9/5 Movie was average and over-rated.....not good and damn sure wasn't bad..just ok!

now this shows what good encoding is... obviously a silver that 3 groups have (homemade telesync? well i suppose you can claim that but this is silver) but this shows you what the pros know, if you were to have this encoder on 75% of cam/ts rls it would raise the bar of rls's in the whole, its crazy to think about how other rlss from past silver crews looked like a baph rls but if they had some1 like him... oh well, anyway just thinking about the end of shitty rls's, is that possible? anyway the video is an 8 its great... well... what we are used to from the V and same for audio well maybe dts was around when this name was around... anyway... movie i dont think is too bad, but i never really watched the old show too much, enuff to say i liked it, but not to call me a fan so i had no expectations... 8/7/7

props to the encoder, not to say let secrets out the bag, but there are scene rules, why not scene encoding guidelines and such, that would help in the future and out live any group

(OT) This movie was written by Broken Lizard, the guys that brought you Super Troopers. Look for the ST opening scene spoof when they visit campus. Broken Lizard got fucked by Hollywood over the writing credits (credit went to the Starsky and Hutch douche for his pre-script) so fuck Hollywood back and get this bitch.

Well said , and i agree ... silvers CAN look good (watchable) if properly encoded. We also have to remember that these groups (20 of them) have the same silver sources so time is a factor , they dont take the time to encode it properly as they might get beat by the next group over.

maVen had everyone fooled, including myself into thinkin this was a homemade TELESYNC. All they did was put a bit of TCL into the same source the other groups had .. so to speak.

As much as i would like to think encoding standards should be released, and maVen's encoder releasing a tutorial on how to encode which will screw MPAA in the ass ... which were all here for. We all know that will never happen. Even if maVens encoder did take the time to write and release some tutorial the factor of 20 groups having the same silver source is still there , those groups (most newbies) will cut corners and leave steps out as time is a factor and "he who pre's first .. wins".

Great idea and i agree , we are all here for same thing to watch nice quality movies, rather then payin to see most the crap Hollywood is putting out latley.

In Online reality though , even if encoding standards and a tutorial was released .... time is a factor and all groups care about winning the race and keepin leech on their sites, not the quality. Pride is a thing of the past.

That will never change. MPAA still wins :|

they did all use the same source, just BaPH cant encode for shit. i bet their fantastic four cam would've been of similar picture quality to this if they had took more time and care over the encoding. this is why i didnt dl the full release of baph dukes of hazzard because they fucked it up so badly compared to this...
