v: 9 - Annoying head, thats about it, top telesync.
a: 5 - bad crackling and slight hiss.
m: 7 - good action scenes, makes up for the shocking storyline.

Very nice work maVen, i like the part of the nfo where it says your experimenting with a new type of telesync, will hopefully see its full potential in upcoming releases.

v: 7.5 no doubt it's a good telesync but it's still a telesync and the heads bobbing around in the theatre remind you of that.
a: 7 it's ok not brilliant but you can hear the terrible dialog
m: 5 it's about what you can expect, poor story and lots of action and effects. This telesync does not do justice to the effects.

2nd CD was out of sync for me, i tried it on my PC then streamed to my Xbox360 with Transcode. It went out of sync just before half way on the 2nd cd.

Didnt note the exact time sorry.

Well, after watching this release, I have to say that video is the best so far, with great and rich colours and minimal noises. On the other hand, audio is a bit lame but at least, you can recognize what they say. Also, in part of this rls, audio goes out of synch but it is not very noticable so I guess, that's ok. Anyway

V: 8 (9-10 only DVD Rips)
A: 6 (not the worst but could be better)
M: 9 (best part of all three)

not a bad release execellent video almost as gud as ya want typical for maven , audio was buzzing but could live with it seems slightly outta sync overall was a gud release

ha ha ha ha ha, not a fookin clue have you, this release group is one of the tops, at least thier's is a FULL release, not the INCOMPLETE crap from others, what's the point of an incomplete even if it's dvd quality? Pointless imho!

This will do until a dvd rip comes out.


For Maven, thank you, much appreciated, hope the knob jockeys that hate you so much will realise that not everyone wants to tickle thier rings!

The audio problem is relatively easy to fix using ZN's release as follows:

Import both releases completely onto the time line in your NLE of choice (I like Vegas but Premiere, Avid or Pinnacle will do just as well).

Move the start of the ZN release to line up with the corresponding frame of the Maven release.

Time stretch (shorten/speed up) the ZN release from the last frame to meet up with the corresponding frame in the Maven release.

Deleted ZN's video and the part of Maven's audio that overlaps with ZN's.

Voila... A full release with Maven's great video as well as complete, in sync, nice quality audio. If you're feeling really flash any one of the NLEs I mentioned above will allow you to overlay those 3 items of French text with the appropriate English as well...

With regards to the alternate slating/ass-kissing going on above... I think that people shouldn't complain if a release has it's shortcomings. Both of these groups have taken serious risks in getting these releases out and I'm grateful to them for giving us the tools we need to make a pristine copy of this movie less than a week after it was released in the cinemas.

I hope the instructions above are of some use to people, they worked well for me anyway.

thought good groups removed these so they didnt go to jail

V - 8: Pretty good video. Almost looks like telecine quality.

A - 6: Audio isnt that great. Pretty hollow & there is not that much bass. No sync issues.

M - 8: The movie was good. Good action scenes, ur basic plot. 2 thumbs up

No disrespect, but why does everyone keep saying the audio is so good? It's really fucked up! It isn't watchable at all. Sure, the picture looks really nice, but I really can't watch a movie with a constant buzz in it. It sounds like there is a really big fly behind the camera the whole time. Guess I'll have to wait for a decent dvd-rip.

I agree with Yloony. Tryed to watch the movie got into it 45 mins and the sound was just doing my brain in had to stop. Shame coz picture is good with good AR and good colour.

I have to disagree with ppl saying that the video is perfectly crisp and clear - not even on a 1024x768 television. It's nice, but it sure ain't perfect - barely pretty.
